#2? AB played in 9 games his rookie year and accumulated a whopping 16 receptions. He was behind Wallace, Hines, and Manny Sanders. Second season he finally emerged as the #2 behind Wallace but didn’t overtake the top spot until his fourth season after Wallace left in free agency.

Was just about to post this. Juju clearly needs to play better, but he's still a #1.#2? AB played in 9 games his rookie year and accumulated a whopping 16 receptions. He was behind Wallace, Hines, and Manny Sanders. Second season he finally emerged as the #2 behind Wallace but didn’t overtake the top spot until his fourth season after Wallace left in free agency.

Well, I think last year, even when AB wasn't on the field, JuJu was producing at a #1 rate. Which was essentially fools gold. He mostly benefited from AB getting all the focus anyways.Oddly enough. It’s interesting to see how some #2 guys can put up “#1 numbers” in a lesser role but have a hard time when the best guys and double teams are on them.Yea, he's a high-level #2.
Wallace and Brown
JJ Nelson and that other guy that had a beard and caught deep balls
I don’t have any other examples

When I say "high-level #2" I mean, he needs help on the other side of the field to help his numbers too. The emergence of Johnson, seems like it will doubly benefit JuJu as well.

I think Juju would be fine if he had 2018 Ben throwing to him
2019 STILLERS Thread
Maybe, but doesn't that kind of lend to him needing someone to help him along? If he's a #1, he shouldn't be having these issues every game where he can't separate, or get open. That's also potentially a symptom of him just needing to work at it more. I don't take my comment as negative to him, just that there might be more to learn.

This should be a given for nearly all NFL WRs, IMO.Source of the post just that there might be more to learn

right...and I'm saying he's a high-level #2, that can learn to be #1 lol. I don't think he's a catalyst for an offense yet, like AB could have been, or even partially to what AB could have been.

Can we go back to the block numbers full time now?

To me, the sans-serif numbers are akin to Three Rivers having artificial turf. It just doesn't really fit.

The current ones are a 9/10 in the ulf jersey rankings and the block numbers are around a 9.4.

I believe he's saying your take on block numbers looking out of place is subparSo you liked the fact that 3R had turf?

That's not what I'm saying, tho. I'm saying the non-block (sans-serif) numbers look out of place.
And he quoted the bit about turf, not the numbers.

Saw yesterday he didn't practice because "Back."
Is that as in "He ran back and lost a few yards thereby allowing the Rams to get a safety?"

I think it is a back injury due to lack of a spine.
