Probably not, but I agree with what he said.I'm not sure he's the right person to be speaking out on being a distraction.

Maybe put our best CB on their game breaking WR. But that’s just me in my armchair.Once again damning evidence of just how terrible this coaching staff is:

When they showed Ben’s last pass yesterday, I had a bad feeling that it would be a pitcher’s-like elbow injury. Welp, this season is down the toilet.

It is absolutely **** hilarious to me that Ben was dealing with elbow pain that the team and coaching staff knew about and they still traded Dobbs last week.

I think you just assess Mason this year and determine if he's going to be your future. Stinks that they traded Dobbs, now they'll likely need to go out and get another back-up lol.

GTFO with this Dobbs talk. You hedge your bets on Rudolph and let it roll.
2019 STILLERS Thread
Not that Dobbs was a starter, they just need another back-up now. This is like the first time Tomlin hasn't carried three QBs and they lose one to a season-ender.
I doubt the Steelers have Hodges as the back-up to Rudolph, but you ride Rudolph to find out what you have, IIRC it's a deep draft for QBs.

Technically, our season will likely be over by the end of the year.

Silver lining: This opens the door for shitcanning Tomlin and getting a fresh start next year since people seem to hold them as a package deal.

More likely they use Ben's absence as an excuse to not can Tomlin

Just realized they could go full Pirates and just say that losing Ben is what made the season a loss and Tomlin deserves more years.Silver lining: This opens the door for shitcanning Tomlin and getting a fresh start next year since people seem to hold them as a package deal.

So Ben, Brown, and Bell all out of the roster at effectively the same time.
Careful what you wish for I guess.

I thought it was crazy that people here thought the team would be better off with out AB and Bell...and now we'll never officially know I guess because of this...
Did Rudolph look competent in relief yesterday, or not really? It's still the AFC Central, after all...how many wins do you guys really need to get it...?

I look forward to the dog and pony show next season when they act like a 38 year old QB will have no issues returning from TJ surgery and proceed to let him suck for 10 weeks before putting him out to pasture.

As a 49ers fan.... I have hope that the disarray of the Steelers will let the 49ers lay a beat down this week. On the other hand this could be the one game where they get that little injection of momentum with Ben being hurt and rallying behind Ruldolph blah blah blah. Plus they don't want to go 0-3.
I'll be in Hawaii during the game anyways, but I hope this isn't the week the Steelers figure it out for a game.

Yes. His INT was entirely Moncrief's fault, he set it into the secondary like a volleyball play.Did Rudolph look competent in relief yesterday, or not really? It's still the AFC Central, after all...how many wins do you guys really need to get it...?
It's easier to do well when the other team didn't game plan for you, though. I'll reserve judgement for a while.
