Eh if the Steelers end up having to go with their 4th string QB, it doesn't matter who's in there. They'd be toast either way.

I don't mind whoever they bring in to be the backup at this point. They can drag Terry Bradshaw down from the booth to be the backup. If it gets to that QB, RIP Stillers.

I mean it's not like he's getting down on one knee and begging teams to sign him.

Well he'd want to be the starter, not going to happen with Rudolph.

I can't see tweets at work so I don't know what five and dime flunkie you guys hired, but the weirdest meme is comparing all backup QBs to a similarly untalented QB but one who hasn't played in three years...why be so voluntarily stupid, just let it happen naturally, no?

It was for the AAF, but:
When the Alliance of American Football began play last week, some wondered why Colin Kaepernick was not part of the league, given the former 49ers quarterback’s much-noted inability to sign with an NFL team for the past two years. According to a report Thursday, Kaepernick was, indeed, approached by the AAF while it was in development, but his asking price was too high.

That price? At least $20 million, according to the Associated Press’s Barry Wilner, who said he got that information from a person with “knowledge of the conversation” between Kaepernick and the fledgling league.
Ryan Clark at one point said he thought Kap would sign with an NFL team for $9 to $10 MM.

Regardless of any of that, he's 31, hasn't played in an NFL game since 1/1/17, hasn't participated in the past three training camps, was never particularly good to begin with, and would probably demand to be a starter.

Damn it mikey, work somewhere better.

and has already declined offers from at least two teams (Houston, Denver) since leaving SF.

Thank you. Paxton Lynch had a lot of upside coming out. He was one of my favorite "ceiling-wise" coming out of the draft...of course, he hasn't progressed very far, but this is a good gamble if you have anyone that develops QBs in your org...

Tyree Jackson is 6'7" and is a FA (cut by Buffalo) but I'm not sure he fits your criteria other than he's the only Google result for 6'7" QB
