I expected the whole building to have collapsed with the way that is worded. Also, he's an idiot for walking his dog during a thunderstorm.

Now this one’s crazy. An entire family, including their dog, found dead with no signs of foul play.

Shutting down Only Fans (for all intents and purposes) is not the right answer. That said, I've often wondered about what kind of dark side there is there. The 0.03% of people that make a lot of money are one thing, but I'm more talking about the women that are desperately trying to make money/gain a foothold as their only source of income. Especially those with children.

You can laugh, that's fine. I'm hardly on board with shutting down sites like that because they are safer than other outlets for that stuff, especially for the workers. I just meant I wonder sometimes about the many more people that are not so successful on there, and the kind of protections they have in place for those folks to not get taken advantage of.

I'd imagine that if they are not successful, they would stop. Unless they just like the attention or get off on it.

You had me until the last sentence. The last sentence has nothing to do with the rest of it. Like, you tried to toss it in for effect but it landed with a thud because of the complete lack of relevancy.

Even if you try to drag it in there it falls flat again. You're okay with cutting off an income stream for mothers simply because they're mothers? A bit Puritan, imo. Like the original tweet alludes to, OF was a way for them to make money in a legal and much safer way than engaging in prostitution. I just find it funny you'd rather have them literally on the streets or starving.

To reiterate, I think you raised a valid point but made a mess of it by creating classes of people for which it is and isn't okay to make a living from OF.

My pushback on your position is just part of a larger position that sex work should be legalized, normalized, and regulated. OF was a creative step in that direction and now it's being shut down because of people that share your stated beliefs.

I don't have a hard time believing that number at all. That's only around 30k subscribers at $15/mo. The top YouTubers make over $20 million a year off of tens of millions of subs, and that's nearly all ad-supported revenue share.

An Indiana County man was hit by a car and eventually died at the hospital due to his injuries, Aug. 27, while he was mowing his lawn police say.

Joshua Brink, 32, of Smicksburg is facing charges of homicide by vehicle while DUI, Involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault by vehicle and other charges after he lost control of his car and left the roadway and then hitting a man on his lawnmower.

Brink was driving on Barnard Road when he left the roadway and then overcompensated by steering too far and then leaving the roadway on the other side striking a small embankment. The vehicle continued off-road and hit 52-year-old Douglas Dalessio on his lawnmower.

The vehicle continued forward until hitting multiple bushes and then coming to a stop with the lawnmower right next to it.

Dalessio was flown from the scene to Alleghany Hosptial where he died as a result of his injuries.

Brink is currently incarcerated in Indiana County Jail with a monetary bail of $100,000.

A pet peeve of mine is passive voice in reporting on these things. "The vehicle" didn't do any of that; the drunk did
