count2infinity did you catch that NPR story this morning about the two kids and their chickens? It was super wholesome and had me chuckling a few times.
I did. They were so freaking excited and I dug the mom’s thinking. I have a 4 year old, so I totally get the excitement in their voice.

Stefanie Sugarman, Los Angeles. MTG was older than the cutoff age for contestants on Se1. The actual contestant lady has been married since 2004 and has a YouTube channel (with 1 whole subscriber!).

Far Left Kyle's twitter thread is a great exhibit in the both-sidesing of utter stupidity.

"Remember, the people saying it's not her are the same people who drew little red circles on the parents of sandy hook victims and said they were crisis actors."

"Just wanna go on record and say I'm not 100% sure this is mtg, but it looks like her and is funny to think about. "

Same guy. Same thread. Same day.

These are colossal dingleberries who put out daily reminders of their lameness. You don't need to fake s**t and join the fray to make them look bad, they do a splendid job of it themselves for real.

Not sure if anyone here listened to Serial or followed this case.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/25/politics ... index.html
The Supreme Court on Monday declined to review the case of Adnan Syed, whose murder conviction was the focus of the first season of the popular "Serial" podcast.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/adnan-syed ... 1663163015
Prosecutors in Baltimore are asking a judge to vacate Adnan Syed’s conviction for the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee, a case that riveted America when it was turned into the hit first season of the podcast “Serial.”

The state’s attorney for Baltimore City said in a motion filed Wednesday in circuit court that a nearly yearlong investigation, conducted with the defense, found new evidence, including information concerning the possible involvement of two alternative suspects.

Prosecutors are requesting Mr. Syed be given a new trial. They said they weren’t asserting that Mr. Syed is innocent. “However, for all the reasons set forth below, the State no longer has confidence in the integrity of the conviction,” said the office of Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, which is overseeing the reinvestigation.

Why don't they say what that frying pan was made of? Cast iron or aluminum or in between.

Didn't know where to put this. But I was at Target yesterday at the self check out and was wondering how much businesses were losing at these things. Wegmans is shutting down their scan and go app due to increased shop lifting.

I love self checkouts. I especially love the Sam's scan and go app. If they didn't have that I probably wouldn't shop there nearly as much. It's much quicker for me to scan my own stuff and bag than it is to wait in line and have someone take forever to do it.

Yeah, self-checkout FTW. What kind of psychopath enjoys sitting in line? I wish Costco had a mobile app to scan items as you add to your cart to make checkout quicker, but for now self-checkout works just fine.
