Removing the sun rooms in favor of sterile corporate redesigns and the buns have definitely declined in quality. Lately, any time I go to Wendy's I feel like I'm really inconveniencing the staff. Drive-thru is real hit or miss. It once took nearly a half hour to get through the line and get our order. There were 2 cars ahead of us. One time we were in line at around 9:30 and a staff member knocked on our window to tell us they were closing up because they didn't have enough staff. Everything just seemed better when Dave was alive and they used yellow packaging.

Wendy’s is at the bottom of the list when it comes to consistency from location to location. Some are good, most are bad, some are in the running for worst fast food places in the city (looking at you Baum blvd and also you 40th street)

Wendy's had the worst fries of the major chains in the 90s, so in that regard they've gotten better. The spicy chicken was my go to back in the day.

Our Wendy's went 'cash only' for a few days. Big nope from me.

Hardees in West Virginia is like that. Lobby closed, drive-thru only. I'm pretty sure it's just one guy doing everything in there.

Based on having worked there long ago, this is correct. They can pack 'em more efficiently into a case without the wasted space circle patties have.

I liked the crispy ones from BK better... I just remember Wendy's fries as being fairly bland and undersalted. If we are delving into "worse" takes, I think I liked Long John Silver fries more than Wendy's too, actually.

Maybe that's why everyone did the Frosty dip in hindsight, they weren't palatable by themselves.

They are crap when compared to their fries from the 80's/90's. Still better than BK. McDonalds has great fries...but only if you get them super fresh.

In any event I eat at any of the above places maybe once or twice a year, but if I'm picking one I'm going to Wendy's cause their burgers are the best, and the fries are palatable with the right dipping sauces. McDonalds burgers suck, and I'd only go there to get fries and those fries would have to be super fresh.

oh man this is incredible. An immersive experience designed around Willy Wonka opened in Glasgow and charged people £40 a pop. Turns out all the promotional material was AI generated, the real thing was bordering on methlab, it was all off brand as they couldn’t use Willy Wonka IP and there was a random evil character that scared the bejesus out of the kids

Not enough charges.

Charges have been filed after 90 dogs and cats were found in a Bedford home.

Nyal Barton Piper, 81, and Renee Lynn Piper, 62, are facing more than 400 charges including animal cruelty, neglect, and aggravated assault of animals, among others, court dockets show.

According to a PSP report, on Dec. 30 police were called to a home on Business 220 in Bedford for a report of animal cruelty. Officers said they arrived at the home and there was an overwhelming smell of dog feces. They also heard dogs barking, but no one was home.

An attorney charged for animal cruelty.
