Do you carry cash?

I'm 45 years old, and my aunt sends me $50 for my birthday every year. It's kind of...enough already? I do appreciate it, because I rarely get cash or much of anything for birthdays any longer.

Most strippers don't like it when you try to swipe a card...
Ugh...I remembered another reason why I hate strip clubs.

"Nope, I'm all out of money. Thanks"

"I can walk you to the ATM!"

I know it's kind of a joke/urban legend, but I honestly saw a stripper with "Visa/MC" tramp stamped across the lower back with an arrow pointing down.

Ah, Philly.

Gas is cheaper with cash and some local watering holes are "Cash Only" establishments. So yes, usually up to $50.
Living in NY, NJ and NC my entire life I’ve never witnessed gas being cheaper with cash until spending a week+ in Cali. Kind of annoying, especially when it makes me calculate the opportunity cost of using my credit card for the points

I’ve heard many stories about Myrtle strip clubs. Derrières in particular...

About .10 cheaper per gallon for cash at 5 of the 6 stations within 3 minutes of my house.

I usually don't carry cash, but I'm glad I did today. Parking garage ticket machine wouldn't accept my ticket and I had to pay cash at the office.

I don't even carry a wallet anymore. I haven't for a few years now. It's great. I have a sliding back phone case with a credit card and my license in it. And I try to use Google pay whenever available but it's crazy the amount of places that don't yet take it!

Today I needed cash for a Craigslist find. Went to one PNC that was since closed. And another where the ATM was down. Luckily it was still open. Walked in and grabbed my $30 from a teller like an old man. Lady ended up having Google pay but I didn't wanna risk it.
