Consumption rates of hot dogs (and sausages like brats) increase in the summer cookout months. But spread out over a year, I probably eat a couple dozen.

I'll go with 1-2 a month because it's about 1 a week at least from May through October. I don't really like them that much but they're so convenient and sound so much better when I'm making the turn onto #10

I've had a pack of hot dogs in my freezer for probably more than five years, and it might be closer to ten. I can look at the expiration date on the pack to get a rough idea. The last time I ate a hot dog was when I finished off the second pack that I bought at the same time as I bought the pack that's in the freezer. To say I don't eat them often would be an understatement.

I usually have Nathan's in my freezer, but recently tried some of the fresh store brand ones from Fresh Market, and now prefer them.

I got uncured Oscar Meyer at Sam's club and they were really good. Probably ate about 10 of them in the last 3 months or so off the grill. Outside of grilling season, maybe 2x a month, and usually from sheetz with cheese and onions.

Hard to vote because hot dogs are kind of a spree food.

There will be times where I will eat hot dogs five times a week and then go like four months without eating any.

The best hot dog I've ever had are Sahlen's. They are a western NY brand that you can get at most Wegmans. They've got that great snap.

Yeah. Rarely are they big enough to have a good proportion of bun to meat (hehe) if you get the big good buns. Burgers, however, I splurge for the good bakery buns

One of the very few things I get nostalgic for from PA, is the (what I'm guessing used to be) $0.99 chili dog from Sheetz. I'd have a couple after playing hockey, almost without fail.

All beef dogs are worse than the mixed crap. Sheetz dogs are the only hot dog i won't eat though. Garbage.

Tif touts three of my most strongly opposed opinions on food. Sheetz hotdogs, mcribs, and little caesar's reheated - though i just ate that minutes ago... caesar's new flat crust with bacon and pepperoni is awesome
