As far as grogu being a child, they absolutely nailed it as anyone with a young one knows. Little kids will eat Christmas ornaments off a tree. Just saying.

The music for the last chapter was so badass from start to finish. I don't know if it's the best star wars music, but I don't think you could get a better soundtrack for that episode period. Goosebumps.

I am being obstinate for my own self-amusement here. Williams is the GOAT, for sure, but I will happily say that Göransson's work on Mando is a complete breath of fresh air and is the best non-Williams material in SW imo. And I say that as a Michael Giacchino fan.

The best way I can describe it is the music for Clone Wars and Rebels and Solo to me sound like they're trying to be John Williams. Giacchino, while certainly making gestures that way when appropriate, made music that sounded like Rogue One while still fitting in the SW silo. That's how Göransson has worked with Mando, but in an even much more distinct fashion.

Btw, I am noticing very little talk about R2D2.
Grogu seemed to want nothing to do with Luke. He was clutching Mando"s boot, looking like he wasn't going to go, until R2 came in. R2 started beeping and shaking as soon as he saw Grogu, like he did when he was reunited with 3PO. They sure seem to remember each other.

Holy **** am I glad I decided to return and finish this...

The worst thing about the CGI is something that can't be fixed. Overall I give it 9/10. Seriously we're recreating people here and the tech is amazing. What will never be possible is the eyes. There's no life I'm them. Soulless. That can't be faked.

Others have mentioned and I'll echo it, this is Rogue One level good.

I'll admit I was wrong. I'm all in on the expanded universe. Where do I start? Clone Wars and then Rebels?

Apparently there is a Luke Skywalker series coming out that takes place around same time as mandalorian. Not sure how I feel about this yet

Of the two, Rebels is a much better show. But the Clone Wars series takes place chronologically before Rebels so it probably makes sense to watch it in that order. I watched Rebels before Clone Wars though and there are only few times where you might be lost when they reference CW. There are a lot of throw away shows with CW and the shows are actually not in chronological order in some instances.

There is a lot more Rebel references in Mando, but I'd still watch Clone wars first and then Rebels. Both great shows IMO.

Best of luck getting through the first few seasons of Clone Wars. I've tried and failed twice now.

It's very possible, likely even, that they met at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. It's even possible that R2 was the one who saved Grogu from the Temple and Order 66.

I really hope not. The more shows/movies they do, the smaller the universe feels. It should be the opposite.
