It's been a while, I don't exactly remember the order of planets you visit/return to. I just remember getting frustrated trying to return to the surface from the bowels of the imperial installation. BD's map sucks.
Ended up consulting a guide to find out I was heading the right way and would've ultimately ended up where I needed to go sort of by accident. What I'm a little bit bummed about is I decided to watch a few "Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started [game title]" videos, and................. I can tell you, they are appropriately named, these videos. lol

You can go straight from a**hole frog planet to Dathomir and get....... the cool thing that they kept a secret in the marketing, but which in hindsight should've been pretty obvious was a thing, straight away. Like, the game sort of tells you to go from a**hole frog planet to Zeffo for story purposes, and from there to Kashyyyk. But if you find the room that has the cave art of Dathomir while you're still on a**hole frog planet and let BD scan it, you can go straight to Dathomir from there and... yeah.

Have one episode left of Andor that I'll watch tonight. The scene in space with Luthen and getting away from the imperial ship might be the coolest, didn't see that coming, thing I've seen in a while with Star Wars.

Is there anything where a guy - an everyday Joe such as myself - can look for evidence that shows awards shows are, in fact, bullshit?

Looks great. I need one of you Star Wars historians to explain the shot at 1:08. It feels like order 66 but timeline wise that doesn't make sense at all obviously. They could be Luke's recruits but that doesn't feel right either. Take it away, nerds.

*edit* Just realized that it's probably a flashback to Grogu in the Jedi temple during Order 66. Duh. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Hayden Christensen cameo there.

No, not that nerd. I only like you nerds. I also don't want to watch a 10 minute breakdown of a 90 second trailer.

I like how Bad Batch has a lot of guest actors, like the great Hector Elizondo in episode 2. He's 86 btw.

Good season so far.

Re Jedi Fallen Order

As mentioned in the video game thread, I completed the game this weekend. Good time, good story. A little rushed in the end, but whatever.

What is kind of neat about it is that in the game you have many options for customizing your lightsaber based on bits you scavenge throughout the game world. And it is tied into Savi's Workshop. You have the same four bundles of parts (Peace & Justice; Protection & Defense; Elemental Nature; Power & Control), and the in-game scrap parts are also the same design as the initial selections that were available at Galaxy's Edge when it opened. So my Cal Kestis lightsaber in the game is built to look exactly like the 'real' one I built at Savi's last year. That gave me a nice little chuckle.

Had to get through 3 podracing/heist episodes to get to an Order 66 survivor story - a Wookie! Good episode.

Two episodes dropped Wednesday - more political intrigue. Shades of Bonus Marchers - what to do with Clone veterans now that they are aging out of the Imperial Army. Very deep and well written, almost Andor level (but not quite there). It's amazing they continue to do a fluff episode after fluff episode, and then knock 3-4 out of the park in a row.

This season of Bad Batch seems like a bit of a crossover/tie-in with the story of Fallen Order. I haven't done my usual nerd out rabbit hole yet, but the big mech with the blue energy weapon in it's chest and the power older than the Jedi is straight out of the Zeffo culture in the game.
