Not sure what happened there...brain cramp.

I know there has been some back-and-forth on this, but it would be really neat if we got to see Rex as Nik Sant. This last episode connected the known SW universe in such a great way, that it would sorta be a shame if they didn't do this. And there was speculation that one of the Rebel troopers in Empire Strikes BackRotJ, outside of the shield generator building on Endor was Captain Rex.
Here's how that would go.That said, now that the cat's out of the bag, if Disney continues to run the art, they would likely be guilty of contributory infringement. Which is kind of a squishy area of IP law.
That's not how that would work. There's no statutory definition of secondary liability for contributory infringement, which means it could potentially be A LOT more than $50k on the table. Infringement is a per-instance thing; every single example of Disney placing that art somewhere could be a six-figure claim. Here's how that would go.That said, now that the cat's out of the bag, if Disney continues to run the art, they would likely be guilty of contributory infringement. "We're Disney, here's 50k, shuddap."
The Rebels finale was kind of.... I need to re-watch, because I feel like I must've missed something.
The brief Star Wars segment of the John Williams Hollywood Bowl show was always my favorite. This would definitely be worth going to. And don't act like you wouldn't sing along to a live rendition of Jedi Rocks.Just learned that the SF Symphony will be doing concerts this summer where they screen the OT movies and play the score live-to-picture. I've seen a thing like that with the Looney Tunes, but I'm guessing that will be pretty badass for SW.
Only downer is it would naturally be the Special Editions.
The first time I saw him conduct at that venue, my enthusiasm was severely dampened by the proliferation of grown-ass men and women in Jedi robes with those fake plastic light up lightsabers that all came out the moment the first choral notes of Duel of the Fates rang out.The brief Star Wars segment of the John Williams Hollywood Bowl show was always my favorite.
