Yeah the finale is an exclamation point on a really great season. This is easily the best Star Wars series. Hell, it's the best Disney+ series. Andor makes me resent Kenobi and Boba Fett even more. Star Wars can and should be great.

Woah Andor is currently airing on ABC. That’s a first for a Disney+ show right?

Yes, I think they are airing the first two episodes for free. Unfortunately, those are the slowest of the season and might not hook enough people. But a cool idea nonetheless.

Is there any significance in the SWU to the name Rix Road?

Initial reaction:
90% of it gets 100%, but 10% only gets 65%. There were some weird choices, some unearned story outs, and no one of real consequence was lost.

But as I've been saying in other contexts for years: The definition of good and evil depends on which side of the boom you're on. That's the thing Andor (and Rogue One before it) did so well, and why I was as excited for this episode of television almost as much as I've ever been for any of the films.

Oh, wait........... fight the Empire. Fight. I thought she said something else. 'Fight' the Empire actually would make a nice t-shirt.

Not that I'm aware of, and no one has mentioned it that I've heard on the YouTubes. Do you have a specific question that brought it up, or just curious?

Rix means King, so maybe it's a nod to London's King's Road and its history of counterculture as well as to the eponymous song by Tom Won't Back Down Petty. But this is very likely bollocks.

We watch almost everything with captions on (We can't hear without captions! ) and we were quite surprised to see Rix pop up, as that's our last name. It's a very unique name, with a very unique spelling. Just kind of striking to see the name like that on the episode title.
Gaucho is right, it does mean king - bastardized from the Latin Rex.

I thought I might have some distant relative work for Lucasfilm back in the old days, like the designer they named the Cantwell class cruiser after in the last episode.

I do have a niece in the industry. She was a child actor (American Dreams on NBC) and now she works for Chuck Lorre. Started as a production assistant, and now she's a producer on Young Sheldon. Maybe Tony Gilroy was watching the show and noticed her name lol.

I have a buddy who was a producer for Lucasfilm. He’s doing his own thing now but I feel bad when I see all of our friends posting about how Andor is the best of the Star Wars Disney era. He has a co-producer credit for Rogue One though so I don’t feel that bad.

In the hustle and the bustle of our Thanksgiving Day power outage, I forgot to query a moment that I found terribly vexing. Why did they........ switch hats?
Karn seemed like he was one moment away from laughing, and actually looked away towards the end of the scene, I think to keep from breaking. What the heck was that?

That was strange, and then Mosk was just sitting in an alley at the end of the episode. Very strange indeed.

How many hours of time will it take to watch the last 11 episodes of andor? I liked the first one but lack the willpower to watch anything but golf and cooking shows at night
