wow, that's detailed. Have they really talked about that many places in star wars?

When you don't have a girlfriend wasting all of your time and money... you can get things done...
That's why I married a star wars nerd bigger than me.

Mando Se1 Ch6
Fun times. The main story didn't seem to progress much, aside from giving a then-and-now juxtaposition for how Mando does his thing. The three X-Wing pilots at the end were all cameos, which was neat. Nymphadora Twi'lek was actually pretty awesome; I hope she recurs. During the fight with the big red guy, I was like "The enemy cannot fight if you disable his hand..." According to IMDB, the guy who played Xi'an's brother - Qin, The Prisoner - actually had a recurring role on Sesame Street playing a character called, I'm not making this up, Mando.

When Bayo thought he accidentally exploded Z's head, and looked his hand like, "Wtf, I can do that?"........... we both just absolutely cracked up. It was like the VW commercial where the dad uses his key fob to chirp the car locks when his son is in the Vader mask, and junior thinks he may have The Force for a moment. So fun, probably my favorite moment in the show so far, aside from the reveal of The Child.

Also: Overt call out to Canto Bight. More sure than ever there's a tie-in to EpIX.

I took the canto bight slot machine comments the same way I took the gungan jar jar slight. Burr's character was an dadhole and they were making fun of people who make fun of star wars. We went back and watched the Yoda scene a couple times due to popular demand from the kids. I haven't had a laugh like that in a good while. I honestly kept thinking we're going to see Taika's name listed as the director for this one. This might have been my favorite episode so far, love how episodic this is, getting a Dr who at its best vibe from this show last night.

Also regarding the episodic nature of Mando, definitely see the similarities between this and rebels,/clone wars. Filoni is all over it and I'm here for it. I have no complaints getting a mini star wars movie of the week.

The guy from Batman begins said mandos ship looked like a canto bight slot machine

I think it was Burr's character who said it

After reading @tifosi77 's post about the different actors in this one, I went and checked out the iMDB page for the episode. All three X-Wing pilots were show directors, including Dave Filoni. Matt Lanter played the New Republic soldier, and the big red dude was another recurring voice actor from Clone Wars and Rebels.

While I think that spoiler tags are stupid to begin with...

Spoiler tagging random species in a jail cell that they walk past?

Spoiler tagging that Clancy Brown is one of the voices?

Is there a way to turn off the spoiler tags in my account so that I can just read the posts and not play hopscotch, I mean click the spoiler tag button?

The easiest way would be to recognize that you are the dopey outlier and quit dodinting about it.

Watched The Force Awakens. Rey has the best music of the new movies. This movie isn't without it's problems, but it's a pretty damn great and fun star wars movie.

The amount of Star Wars "fans" actively hoping for TROS to be bad (and will undoubtedly say the movie is bad regardless) is just sad. What a miserably toxic NTP66 ass fanbanse. These people deserve the Ludovico technique with a never ending loop of Jar Jar.

It's probably time for me to unsub to r/starwars and ignore this thread since I won't be seeing the movie until after the holidays.

But first...this tweet from eddy's slash film article is hilarious.

@adambvary
Also, I can confirm there is queer representation in #StarWars #TheRiseofSkywalker. It lasts maybe two seconds, and you may miss it entirely. Welp.
