Taming beasts is central to the core of Mandalorian culture, which is why the rest of the Covert didn't immediately hit her with a barrage of WTFs. The Raptor chicks were welcomed with open arms as 'foundlings', same as Grogu, same as Din Djarin himself (and I believe same as Ragnar, which underscores how significant it was that Paz Vizsla identified him as his son; Foundling-Ward is a sacred bond in Mando culture).I'm a little over those constant battles with oversized local fauna. Is Bo-Katan now a Mother of Dragons?

On the one hand, this means Rogue One and The Last Jedi remain the only SW theatrical efforts mounted by Lucasfilm in the Disney/KK era to not go through development upheaval resulting in the initial director(s) and/or writers getting s**tcanned, and/or the project's plug getting pulled prematurely. (RO and TLJ are by far not just my favorite Disney/KK era theatrical projects, they are my favorite SW movies, period, so take that fwiw... which is nothing.) So that's a pretty bad look, however you slice it.
But on the other hand, as I commented on a YT video this AM, getting rid of Damon Lindelof from your movie is bad in the same way as it is bad for a ninja to set off on a mission without their drum kit. Long run, you're probably better off for it.

The Disney Star Wars era has been disappointing to say the least. It started off strong with Force Awakens and Rogue One (which is easily the best Star Wars movie since the OT), but man it went downhill fast. We got a sequel trilogy with no clear direction or identity, the adventures of young Han Solo that nobody asked for, countless announced productions that either started and stopped or never got off the ground at all, and a very mixed bag of straight to D+ shows. And we still don't have an actual release of the theatrical OT.
At least the cartoons have been well received.

As soon as I hit 'post' I thought "maybe I should change that to 'so you've heard'," but figured the first draft sufficiently captured the spirit of the thing.

You should see the planet the Bad Batch ended up on a couple of episodes ago. Looks just like Portofino/Croatia, but subtropical.

Misty Rosas is known to be back for Se3. She's played two characters so far, one of which died. So she's either coming back as a new character or reprising the other role.........So the Internet consensus seems to beWhat day you all to that?

From my recollection, "ignore the bad parts" leaves you with one scene near the end of the season. ("I'm sorry, Anakin..... for all of it" legit choked me up.)

I haven't started the Mandeliorian yet, but have been catching up on The Bad Batch. Been a pretty good season so far IMO. I'm on episode 10, but only got like 2 minutes into it before I fell asleep last night.

2 episode season finale of Bad Batch was out yesterday. The season has been good so far, like 3 plot moving eps and 1-2 fluff/throwaway episodes, then 3 plot moving episodes etc. But overall it's been good.
