That felt like a series finale, not a season finale.
I agree with this, but I think the Bo-Katan/Darksaber/Mandalore thing is interesting enough to sustain a couple seasons in its own right.
I agree, I especially like the idea of Katan becoming not so much a villain, but a rival.

Throw Thrawn in there and you got plenty to work with (although I imagine they save that for the Ashoka series or we just get insane crossovers)

Is season 3 releasing the same time frame? Are we getting 8 weeks of Mando and then 8 of Fett in December? At some point in the future, they could have star wars shows going August through May

Re:timeline

Didn’t Fett refer to the Sarlacc pit being 25 years ago?

Maybe he'll get him back because Luke can no longer afford to feed the glutton.

Maybe Grogu ate Luke's first class of students.

... keep them safe from hyperspace and all..

It appears season 3 of Mando isn't coming out until December 2021. Is book of Fett also the next season of Mando? I could see that being the case and having Mando in the background for a season...

Watching it five times within 24 hours gives you a chance to really absorb the peripheral elements. Like the noise the co-pilot made when he got shot off the rip. Or that Dr. Pershing is missing half his right ear.

Do you like the dark troopers music?

If disney was smart, they'd be working on a ride where you put your head in a Mando mask and get punched in the skull by a dark trooper

It was better than Rogue One. It’s close. It’ll never be perfect, especially when it’s such a recognizable character. It didn’t take me out of the moment at all and that’s good enough for me.

Tarkin
Luke
Leia

The only thing that I noticed was the mouth not looking real natural when he spoke.

Was it
Hamill
acting or just voice? He did get an end credit.

He said on twitter he was 'involved', whatever that means. Maybe he played the part and they did some (CGI) work on his face.

He was credited as part of the cast, while Max Lloyd-Jones is credited as "Double for [that guy]".

Didn't someone mention there's supposed to be an hour-long special about the show on Christmas Day? Hopefully that will answer some questions.

Whatever, whinging about the VFX in that scene manages to comprehensively miss the point, and I feel bad for their spouses.

Potentially spicy take incoming.

The music for that episode was - by a rather sizable margin - the best of any Star Wars content.
