Yeah I actually found that scene very sweet and one of the few things that worked well.

Maybe the problem is that too many SW fans are like her*.

*dumb and clueless
This is too stupid to call stupid. It was one of the single best moments in the show so far, and that whole scene is probably the most important contribution to the legendarium the series has given us.

Ep4 definitely on the right track, but there's only 2 episodes left?

First episode of Ms. Marvel was terrific and light years better than anything in obi wan so far

Better episode, I agree. Moses Ingram was finally allowed to act rather than running around yelling cliches. The pacing is still so weird. Every shot is held for a second or two too long. Nothing feels immediate or all that exciting. It's all so awkward. The action is just kind of there. And I still stand by that the Volume really hurts the look and feel of this show. It's claustrophobic as hell. And I can't have a post in this thread without mentioning how bad the Inquisitors are, in this case the Fifth Brother. So yeah, better but still not great.
By the way, that giant trench coat disguise... woof.

My plan yesterday was to chug multiple oat sodas all day long and then rip the bubbler before obiwan started. I seem to remember liking the episode as we watched, but don't remember much of it today. That may be the best way to watch it.

Buddy of mine pointed something out to me that I hadn't noticed. So far, each of the OWK episodes has sort of broadly followed the plot of the Saga movie episodes in chronological order.
Ep 1 = OB1 on Tatooine is called to aid Princess Leia
Ep 2 = OB1 tracks trouble to neon planet
Ep 3 = OB1 and Vader fight, FIRE BAD
Ep 4 = Rescue party lead by OB1 frees Princess Leia from clutches of Empire from within Imp base, disguising themselves as Imps to escape

There are probably more specific parallels, but there you go.

So that means Ep 5 will see snow, the training of a new Jedi (Yoda? GROGU????), distress for Leia possibly involving asteroids and/or a floating urban environment, and someone gets a hand chopped off. lol

Also, I don't think I've commented on it yet but Lola (the droid) is just Mouse ears in SW. Yay.

Thought chapter 4 was the worst so far. All the way around. Even the recap got things going by reminding me of the worst bit of obi-wan "I knew it! I never should have trusted him. No one is COMING here leia"

Here’s another example of the Volume sucking the life out of this show.

I'm looking forward to dancing teddy bears in episode 6.

Disappointed this wasn't the shot with a platoon of troopers marching directly towards the wall earlier in the Ep.

Another Do 6 joke popped into my mind, but seeing as Leia is a 5th grader in this series it feels inappropriate.

Ugh, this series has been so disappointingly average so far. Mando proving to be the exception, not the rule.
