I was totally hoping The Far Side Gallery 3 was going to hold the answer.

Did I spot the cockpit of the Falcon in that trailer?

So I committed to this last night after dinner. I agree with probably 90-95% of his takes. He apparently forgot Anakin calls it a 'laser sword' in Ep 1, so I guess that explains his fixation on that line in TLJ. Also like the way the movie dealt with Luke's story resolution better than his alternate version. I sort of buy into his idea of having Leia be the one that rams Snoke's ship, as it would be a great way to say goodbye to Leia, and it would address their Ep IX problem... but then it gives Holdo absolutely no purpose whatsoever, and certainly no payoff. If you have an extra 90 minutes, here’s Kevin Smith’s review of The Last Jedi. (Contains endless spoilers and NSFW language.)

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm 12 years old again. Man, that music....
The post says the date is 12/15 (which was the release date of the movie). The playback video says it's 11/21, which seems more likely.

Rian Johnson continuing to argue for Star Wars VIII on Twitter, and doing a awful job doing it, is making me like the movie less and less.

So the Solo teaser for the trailer...
Meh. I’m feeling very whelmed. I think I need to get over the fact that I simply don’t want to see Han’s backstory.

Both of the takes preceding my last post are pretty bad, imo.

Those shots of a super clean millennium falcon interior are great.

I love TLJ. I’m trying really hard to be excited for Solo but I just can’t muster it. There are so many more stories to be told in the SW universe that would interest me more. Both of the takes preceding my last post are pretty bad, imo.

How do you get red flags from a 45 second teaser where nothing happens? Falcon looks good and Lando looks like young Lando. Movie could end up being terrible, but I don't see how you garner much more from it than that. Look forward to the trailer tomorrow.

Getting prequel vibes from a few things. The two people (droids?) reacting as the vehicle crashes and the night club band performing in particular. I’m not saying it’s 100% guaranteed to be terrible, but I already had a bad feeling about it and this teaser doesn’t do anything to change my mind. How do you get red flags from a 45 second teaser where nothing happens? Anything with new characters and new adventures for one. Taking an existing character, especially one as loved as Solo, and just making them young feels incredibly lazy.Like? There are so many more stories to be told in the SW universe that would interest me more.
Han’s story in Star Wars begins exactly where it should in ep IV. Do we really need to see how he meets Chewie, how he gets the Falcon? His arc is perfect and this can do nothing but take away from it.

Chewbacca is one of my favorite characters. As a fan I want to see how he is indebted to Han. I'm excited to see Donald Glover as young Lando. Rogue One was well done, no reason to think this one will be awful.
