Post your tier list of the restaurants he chose for his list.

Mine:

S: Five guys
A: Chick-fil-a, McDonalds
B: Sonic, Arby's, Dominos, Wendy's
C: Papa Johns, Taco Bell
D: Burger King, Pizza Hut
E: DQ, Chipotle, KFC
F: Little Caesars, Carls Jr Hardees, Subway

I have never eaten: In-n-out, Jack in the box

Pizza isn't "fast food". It's pizza and its own animal.

McDonald’s being tied with subway and below Burger King is intriguing.

Frankly, there is nothing wrong with Subway... it's just boring. It doesn't taste bad, it's not greasy or tongue burning salty, no heartburn, no "other" troubles later. It's just a why bother kind of thing.

As to the big three burger joints BK, McD's and Wendy's: Wendy's used to be my favorite out of those, but they have slipped hard over the last decade. McDonalds probably has the best "taste" but it also tends to give me heartburn which obviously hurts it on my list. BK might get an undeserved bump because A. coupons, B. one two blocks from my house, C. I can add stuff to them at home when I eat them... admitted artificial bonus points.

Odd thing when I did this list... I consider myself a burger guy, but my top places are the non-burger places. I suppose I see BK, McDs and Wendy's as sort of like the Budweiser, Miller and Coors of the burger universe. Therefore, given the options in the same area, I go for the non-"burger" option.

Five Guys and Sonic I just don't come across. I know that there is a Five Guys in Oakland, but the only close location with actual parking is 8 miles away in Bridgeville. There is apparently a Sonic there too. I don't go that direction often though.

If 5 Guys weren't 5 Times more expensive than necessary I'd eat there more often. I started an online order just yesterday and a cheeseburger and fries were up to 13 bucks.

Always great could eat 3 times a week 4 life:
A) Wendy's (double or spicy chicken)

Usually good if only once a week:
B)Arby's, kfc, chick fil a, Mcd (breakfast), Caesars (new square pizza is A tier)
C)Pizza hut, Taco bell, subway

Eat once a year:

D) Domino's, papa John's, Mcd (non breakfast),
E) long johns, Burger king, dq
F) Chipotle


5 guys no way counts. Too long a wait. I left the pizza in for reasons

McDonald’s being tied with subway and below Burger King is intriguing.

What do you eat at McDonald's? Their chicken and burger meat is lower quality than sheetz. Their fries are good and their nuggets are good but can go to gross without warning. I never tried their fish or *yak* ribs

Their fries are enough for me. Their unsweetened iced tea is the best I’ve ever had. I like their quarter pounder as well.

Burger King is criminally underrated imo.

That flame broiling makes their burgers taste leagues better than McDonald's and even better than Wendy's imo. They also have a great value menu (Whopper Jr with cheese is good stuff)
