Congrats on the win. It'll be a lot quieter in the office for a couple of weeks with all of our UCF people I work with.

I caught the end of the game on XM as I was sitting in the drive-thru line and your radio analyst is an embarrassment. He's acting like they just won an MNC or a conference championship with his over-the-top cheering as the final play ended.

Im not on air but man you shoulda heard me screaming by myself. Well me and my buffalo trace. Crazy thing is i think if we play again we win again. Could probably run the ball more even

I can’t find the tweet right now but one of the media folks covering the game said Jimmy Morrissey told the following story post-game:

During the timeout before the fourth down call, one of the officials came over to Pitt’s sideline to tell OC Mark Whipple to remember that it was fourth & 3 at the 4, not fourth & goal.

Morrissey said Whipple looked right at the official and goes, “Don’t worry about it. We’re scoring on this play.”

I think I love Mark Whipple.
