Joker 2 being a musical would be great. If we're gonna sit through another 2 hours of Todd Phillips attempting to be a "serious" filmmaker, at least it'll be something different. Bet he still can't resist tossing in another gay joke like he did in the first one.

Joker was a very good movie because it was quite subversive for a super hero movie and it executed very well on that. Ok, a musical is also subversive, but I have absolutely 0 interest in watching a super hero musical. Particularly one with Gaga in it

ScarJo is fantastic in films where she has a chance to act. Lost in Translation, JoJo Rabbit, Marriage Story, Ghost World. For whatever reason (hint: it’s money) she chooses a lot of big budget popcorn films where she IS just a pretty face. She can be great though.

How is a Joker origin story considered a superhero movie?

Also, Lady Gaga is a very talented songwriter and musician, but she doesn't have a large enough body of work in front of the camera yet for me to anoint her one of the best actresses in the biz.
