This looks great. And now I have to read the graphic novel.

*edit* Welp, I read it. WTF.

Pretty neat. Why be confused, though?

Yup... Pretty well known that Disney reused animation. The dance from Cinderella and (I think) Beauty and the Beast or another one is the best known example.
You could do a side-by-side of probably hundreds of minutes of Disney animation - especially from the 60s and 70s - that does this. It goes all the way back to the original Snow White animation being rotoscoped over live action footage of real actors. They thought they were saving money by reskinning new character animation over old live footage, but none of the actual animators who had to do it thought it was cost-effective.
Yeah they very obviously reused the dance scene with Balou and King Louie in Robin Hood when Little John dances with Lady Cluck (and probably other Little John animations).

John clarke films? If they make without remorse, that would be epic. My favorite novel.
What happened to Craig?

Anyway, I just realized that Michael B. Jordan is starring in a Without Remorse film, out on Amazon Prime in April. No real trailer yet, but it's the prequel to a Rainbow Six film. Could be good...John Clark was always one of my favorite Clancy characters.

It's more of an origin story of Clark than it is a prequel. Good story nonetheless

Yeah, I meant it sets up a Rainbow Six film. I remember liking the book way back when, so hopefully it's good. I wouldn't mind if MBJ ended up on Jack Ryan, either.

New joker picture for Snyder cut released. This movie is going to be so dumb, I can't wait to see it

He's still a terrible Joker. Long hair, don't care.

By the way, did anybody really watch Justice League and think "man, I wish this was 4 hours long and had Jared Leto's Joker in it"

The decompression chamber scene from Without Remorse still makes me a little queasy. Such a good book.

Not exactly surprising but still a shame. Hopefully Disney finds a place for those animators somewhere within the company.

Not sure if anyone remembers this Disney classic, but we watched Hans Brinker, or the silver skates (1962) last night. It was a good watch.

Bam Margera will not be in Jackass 4. He posted a few videos about it where he's clearly **** up (even puking in one) and talking about his suicidal thoughts.

https://www.tmz.com/2021/02/11/bam-marg ... s-boycott/

Regardless of what you think of the guy, or how you feel about the dudes in their 40s making a fourth Jackass, you have to feel for Bam. He was never the same after Dunn died. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.

This is really sad. I've relayed this story a couple of times, but I saw him at a beer garden in Kennett Square (which is not far from his home in West Chester) two years ago. He looked terrible. You could tell people knew who he was but no one wanted to bother him.

I always found Bam to be the least likable and most annoying in a group that was generally pretty likable, but his substance abuse problems have been long lasting and extensive. It’s tough to see a happy ending for him. He’s been helped numerous times and it just never takes.

This. And I'll still watch Jackass 4.

I didn't realize Bam and his wife have a 3 year old at home. Good lord.

I am constantly watching old Jackass clips on Youtube. The one with the giant hand that swings across and nails them as they walk into the kitchen makes me laugh every time. Especially the last one with Bam.

That hand is the best thing they've ever done. And yes, the Bam one is tops. I'm legit surprised he wasn't seriously hurt or killed.

Irresistible - the Jon Stewart film with Steve Carell and Rose Byrne was interesting, especially in the light of what happened in Georgia earlier this year and Washington DC over the last 48 hours.

My wife wanted to watch The Fantastic Four, due to events in Wandavision, so I decided to go with the 2005 flavor.
A few thoughts:
-CGI has come a long way in 15+ years
-Jessica Alba
-Very, very questionable casting. What is a Ioan Griffud? And Julian McMahon doesn’t scream evil villain to me. Michael Chiklis was perfect though.
-Not a horrible film, but very dated and a lot of weird exposition of plot with a bunch of bad extras in the background, trying not to look at the camera.

I didn’t even know there was a Silver Surfer sequel, but I’ll need to hunt that one down as it’s not on Disney+ yet. Laurence Fishburne as Silver Surfer! Pretty cool.
