:thumb: after we were done watching, I looked at my wife and said why did I reschedule my dentist appt from last week to next... :scared:

Absolutely love watching movies like this for the first time, think I have Klute up next. If anyone has anyone suggestions for others from the 70s, I'll gladly take them!

Feel like that should be asked to Rowling/Yates.

F Redmayne for stealing Keaton's Academy Award. Talk about ruining a great story. Reminded me of Stewart Cink and Tom Watson at The 2009 Open, but at least Cink earned his trophy.

I just turned on Notting Hill. Julia Roberts is only 32 in this film, but has she always looked like she's in her late 30s /early 40s? I was also shocked that she is only 52.

Other than Pretty Woman, I always thought she was late 30s/early 40s in every role until recently where she started looking 50ish.

Regardless, she’s overrated in every way.

Notting Hill is one of my favorite films. One of the best soundtracks, too.

Why would a correct and valid take be taken to the bad takes thread?

I dunno, Julia Roberts just never, ever did it for me. Her face always looked about 15 years older than it should.

They always talk about the 'it' factor in a star. And, usually, I can spot 'it'. But at no point have I ever got 'it' with Julia Roberts. I mean, she's one of the most bankable female stars in cinema history, so clearly I'm the wonky one here. But I just simply do not understand her secret sauce.

I like her, but I can't think of anything she's been in besides Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovitch

What about Oceans 12 where she plays a character who pretends to be Julia Roberts?

I'm not even a Julia Roberts fan so I can't believe I'm defending her but what about Runaway Bride, Oceans trilogy, Stepmom, The Player, Hook, Pelican Brief, Steel Magnolias? That's just off the top of my head. She's been a ton of stuff.

Zero chance I would have gotten those if asked. Pelican Brief may be the only one you just mentioned that I now recall her being in.

I forgot about Hook,I liked her in that too. Mirror, Mirror, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, The Mexican, Conspiracy Theory Michael Collins are all good Julia Roberts movies that I had to look up. I like Julia Roberts.

The Net was Sandra Bullock
