Wrong, ****.Incorrect. Neither is Lethal Weapon. But it's a Christmas movie...
So the Passion of the Christ is an Easter movie?Wrong, ****.Incorrect. Neither is Lethal Weapon. But it's a Christmas movie...
I'd just classify them as 'fiction' and call it a day.So the Passion of the Christ is an Easter movie?Wrong, ****.Incorrect. Neither is Lethal Weapon. But it's a Christmas movie...

Lethal Weapon is not a Christmas movie, in that the plot events could take place independent of the holiday. But Hans Gruber needed Chairman Takagi and the whole of Nakatomi Corp to be available as hostages for his plan to work, and the best way to do that is at the company holiday party. Ergo, Christmas movie.Wrong, ****.Incorrect. Neither is Lethal Weapon. But it's a Christmas movie...
In the sense that it is Easter's origin story, yes.So the Passion of the Christ is an Easter movie?Wrong, ****.Incorrect. Neither is Lethal Weapon. But it's a Christmas movie...
If it was a costume party, would that have made it a Halloween movie?Lethal Weapon is not a Christmas movie, in that the plot events could take place independent of the holiday. This is a great point, along with your previous one. And I don't get the Lethal Weapon comparison...of course LW is not a Christmas movie. If it was set at Halloween, sure. But I'm not sure the Japan-based chairman of the company would've flown over for a Halloween party, so we're back to what would it take to get him to fly 9 hours across the Pacific?
Johansson tells "Out" magazine ... "In light of recent ethical questions raised surrounding my casting as Dante Tex Gill, I have decided to respectfully withdraw my participation in the project."
This is honestly pathetic. Some members of that movement will honestly never be happy. I would wager a guess that the silent majority don't give a F and actually think it is cool the story is being told, but the insane Twitter SJWs have won again.Scarlett Johansson pulled out of trans film "Rub and Tug" after criticism.

Atomic breath fired straight up into the air......... more flying MUTOs/kaiju?First look at Godzilla: King of the Monsters
I don't think most people understand the fundamental and critical nature of having an A-lister attached to a low-budget film. I think you're probably right, unless they want to make this a 'teachable moment'.They won and the movie will likely never get made now.
I agree. Except I saw it for the first time recently. I don't understand the hype.Watched the Sandlot last night for the first time in probably 20 years.
Oof. This did not stand up well. I don't think I realized at the time how obvious it was that they were creating a Christmas Story style movie about baseball, complete with annoying narrator and all. Some movies I loved as a kid are just as enjoyable today... This one wasn't.
