I remember liking the second one but hating the third one and that's when I was like 8, so I can only imagine how terrible it truly is.

I'm trying to remember how 'dark' the movie is, because I was thinking of introducing my daughter to it. I do remember loving it. Same goes for Labyrinth, but I know that will have to wait a few more years.

How does a neverending story have a sequel?

How does a neverending story have a sequel?
It's a never-ending story. How does it not have an infinite number of sequels?

The film only adapts the first half of the book, and consequently does not convey the message of the title as it was portrayed in the novel. The second half of the book would subsequently be used as the primary rough basis for the second film, The Next Chapter. The third film, Escape from Fantasia, primarily features an original new plot.

But when will then be now?

First Man, A Star is Born, Sisters Brothers, Halloween. Man, there is a lot of what appears to be good movies in the theater this weekend. It's so hard to get to the theater and see adult movies with kids when a good theater is 50 minutes away, First Man looks to be the winner because of 6 year olds and space.

Only one flag flys in the Snake house and that's the Gadsden flag

TIL before Chris Tucker was cast as Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Element, Luc Besson was considering Lenny Kravitz and also Prince for the role.

While I would have liked to see what Prince would have done with that. Chris Tucker nailed that role.

Every time Prince is mentioned, I think of a quote from one of the Evening with Kevin Smith DVDs. "Prince, it's 3 am in Minnesota, we cannot get you a camel right now."

I forgot how awful and formulaic Passenger 57 was. I absolutely love movies like this and thought I enjoyed this one. What exactly was the end game of the villain? There was no plot, even by action movie standards.

I remember watching Passenger 57 a long time ago, and thinking it was a poor man's Executive Decision. Also makes me think of the scene in Bad Boys during the carjacking - "Wesley Snipes, Passenger 57! Now give me some f'in handy wipes"

Probably not as well as Drop Dead Fred. Or Operation Dumbo Drop.
