I mean, it worked out great for Halle Berry's Catwoman.

I know this is surprising, but apparently Venom really sucks.
I'm not the target demo for this movie by any means, but just in watching the commercials the CG seems to be about fifteen years behind the times. It looks utterly terrible.

Avengers 4, kind of a spoiler:
@ChrisEvans

Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

I am going to be wholly devastated when Clint passes. He has been around for so long you just take for granted he will live forever. Can't believe he is 88.

This actually looks really good. It's amazing that WB managed to **** up Batman, Superman, and The Joker, and can't figure out a way to get Flash and Green Lantern off the ground, yet Wonder Woman, and now Shazam and Aquaman, are solid.

Peter Jackson is remastering and colorizing old World War I film to produce a documentary. Weta has previously done work on museum exhibits about Gallipoli, and the Kiwi involvement in that War, so I'm excited to see what this is all about.

As someone who first moved to CA two decades ago to get into film restoration and preservation, I can only imagine how painstaking the process must have been to restore 100-year old footage.

:shock: Unreal.

That's super interesting. I wonder what frame rate the original footage was at. My guess is somewhere around 16 fps. You can see some frame interpolation/blending going on in this, especially noticeable with the horses in the water. That had to be challenging. Can't wait to watch it.

Just yesterday, we shared a bit of news in which Blumhouse’s Jason Blum said he hopes to make more Halloween films, assuming the David Gordon Green-directed sequel is a hit. Spoiler, it’s going to be huge. While it wasn’t definitive, it’s being reported as such, which led me to do a little digging of my own. Here’s what I learned.

Sources tell Bloody Disgusting that work has already begun on the next Halloween film and that an unknown writer is already developing it. Also, as of this writing, we’re also told that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green probably won’t be involved. The duo had discussed shooting back-to-back films at one point and even poked fun at the idea of shooting a trilogy all at once.

Here’s the kicker – and this part is purely speculation – if the producers can get ahead of this massive hit, it’s entirely possible for Michael Myers to return to the big screen as early as October 2019. If you recall, filming was delayed on Green’s take and didn’t actually commence until January. Blumhouse, who is no stranger to pumping out sequels (i.e. Insidious, Paranormal Activity, The Purge), is primed to keep Michael and the Halloween franchise going year in and out, which would be a breath of fresh air for us hardcore slasher fans. With a new Child’s Play also in the cards, could A Nightmare On Elm Street be next?
I don't like this.

WB pushing these "leaks" like crazy. It's almost like they want everybody to forget about Jared Leto's Joker. "See!? It's like Dark Knight! Heath Ledger-esque, right guys??"
