Ignoring Halloween II as well seems odd, but whatever this looks awesome.

They are reshooting the ending because that was the only part audiences didn't like during a screening but this trailer looks like they are hitting it out of the park. Cautiously optimistic.

oddly enough, I think I'm most excited about Carpenter coming back to do the score for the movie! His recent concert with music from his movies was absolutely incredible.

That looks bad ass. Halloween II is a great sequel but I've never liked the sister connection so if ignoring the sequels is a way to remove the family aspect of it, I'm all for that.

Hopefully the interview and escape happens in the first 10 minutes so we can get to the good ****.

Wonder what people didn’t like about the ending that’s causing them to reshoot it.

Yep. But they also said the rest of the movie was near flawless.

Removing the sister "twist" is the smartest thing they could do. It returns Michael to the boogeyman and not just a typical crazed/vengeful killer.

And in the process they also removed:

His psychic niece, the Cult of Thorn, "Keri Tate," his nephew Josh Hartnett, and Laurie's actual death followed by a pretty swell reality show stunt. I'm not counting the Rob Zombie nonsense in here because it's nonsense. Also, I choose to believe that Silver Shamrock still exists.

It appears so and judging from the trailers and the scientists with all the predator collections, I'm really hoping one of them isn't a secret weaponized predator that was made in a lab.

Welcome........ to Yautja Park.

Does have a Weyland-Yutani kind of been-here-done-that vibe.

Annihilation was awesome. What a messed up movie, I loved the book and the movie did a great job. Holy ****, some of those scenes were terrifying.

yeah, I probably do. I pretty much quit watching any new horror movies once the kids started popping out, so every once in a while, I get the opportunity to turn off the lights, indulge in some good times and get myself freaked out a little. This wasn't a straight up horror movie, but kinda like a Lynchian nature documentary and that works for me.

The Fred Rogers Documentary was great.

At one point they showed some people and articles being critical of him. It's not as though I needed another reason to disdain Fox News, but **** whoever that was that ranted on that network about how Rogers was such a bad person.

Yeah, watched it last night too. Wife and I made it all the way to the end without crying and then BAM, his last commencement speech got both of us. Theater crowd was interesting, not a single person moved until the entire credits were over.

We saw this on TV a couple days ago, and Mrs Tif just laughed because at the end of it she looked over to me to say "Well, that looks fun," and I was just sitting there all

5AF influence is spreading, like the time the Minneapolis bus/train/conveyance referenced the Superb Owl.
