Typical media response:

"We don't know the context". "You can't put the blame on her". If the tape was reversed and it was Depp saying that stuff, he would be utterly crucified in the media.

Crucified and arrested.

Can't find it on Reddit right now, but I listened to the whole 50? min tape of their 'session'. She utilizes the entire abuser playbook during the whole conversation. Gaslighting, threatening, deflection, belittlement, guilt, blame projection...it's actually a bit terrifying. She seems to straddle that line between psychopath and sociopath.

Not only did Depp feel the very real effects of being 'canceled', but Heard used it as a springboard to gain more fame and notoriety.

'We don't know the context' response is hilarious. True, you don't know the context...so judge on the words being said. Context didn't seem to matter when Heard described the 'abuse' she was suffering, so why is it so important now?

Without context, I just did a Google search for 'Amber Heard' and the first result was "Amber Heard meets with a stylist ahead of the Oscars".

It is being completely ignored or downplayed by the majority of the mainstream Hollywood media that was all over Depp at the start of this saga. A hideous side effect of #metoo.

No problem. It was a good movie whether you like cars/racing or not. Waiting for the 4k price to drop a little before buying it, but I do want to watch it again.

They had the actual GT40 driven by Bruce McLaren in the '66 race at the LA Auto Show a couple months ago, that was neat.

Janelle Monae almost had a wardrobe malfunction to rival “Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty” while opening the Oscars.

Well deserved for Parasite. My favorite of the bunch was Jojo but Parasite was a close second.

Big week for sociopaths with painted faces.

Ok, I stole that.
