I knew some of that backstory, but geez. Good share, thanks for that.

The Equalizer 2 was enjoyable, like most Denzel movies are.

Gonna be weird hearing Mr. Potato head as somebody other than Don Rickles.

I'm sure the movie will be wonderful and enjoyable and everyone (including me) will love it, but Toy Story 3 was such a perfect ending that this still feels completely unnecessary.

Slinky Dog got re-voiced for 3, but Rickles will be hard to replace for sure.

I've never played a second of Pokémon in my life yet somehow have a desire to watch that, though I never imagined Pikachu being furry.

Outlaw King was good, not great. Not sure how historically accurate it is but it can't be worse than Braveheart. The battle scenes were pretty intense. Tons of CGI blood.

So many dead horses...

Also saw Overlord and it was also good, not great. The best part of the film was the sound. Very intense.

Same. I used to watch the cartoon, but that was it. Only Ryan Reynolds could make me watch a movie about it.

Between Pokemon go, the card game, and cartoon from my kids and how big poke go is, this looks like it's going to be a huge success. There was a detective Pikachu game recently for the DS and it was weird. This looks to take it up a notch. kids, their parents and stoners are going to eat this up.

QFT...that man was a national treasure. At least Estelle Harris is still around.

Well said. I have watched Toy Story 3 four times and have had tears streaming at the end every time. That was a beautifully poignant and perfect ending to a film trilogy, similar to how the LOTR trilogy ended so perfectly.

I just want to hear what Reynolds is going to wind up saying. Don't even care about much else.

I agree completely. TS3 is about as perfect as movies get, there's no more story in it for these toys.

Not sure how historically accurate it is but it can't be worse than Braveheart.
"Tonight, the Battle Of Sterling Bridge will be played by a bridgeless plain. And William Wallace is not actually Braveheart. And the French girl was only like 12 or 13 at the time, and never even met William Wallace, never mind made a baby with him. But, you know... as you were."

Yuuuup. Although I'm sure Pixar will have me crying over an anthropomorphized Spork by the end of the movie. The bastards.

This clip made me start to wonder if there were any black voice actors in the first three films, so I went and Googled it. According to Google, there wasn't one in Toy Story 3 (and presumably the first two films either). That's only partially surprising because none of the characters had a black voice, but still odd.

One of my good buds is a conceptual artist at Digital Domain, and he's posted a couple of cool pieces as tribute to Stan Lee.

I'm not one for the super hero movies, but this is very true.

That time may not come for another couple of years if the rumors of Marvel stockpiling cameos are true.
