Yup.

You see any of the Hats off Entertainment shorts about it on YouTube?

This wasn’t bad. Honestly thought it would be better, but my daughter really enjoyed it.

Any Given Sunday has not aged well, in case you were wondering. The very 90s jump cuts, awful music, weird focus changes, etc. made it very tough to watch. I remember liking the film back in the day, now it feels like an MTV video.

The football games look like high school games played with middle aged men. James Wood, is James Wood. So weird.

There's some channel called meTV that plays Svengoolie on Saturday nights. The crawling eye was this week's movie. It was terrific.

Always a terrible movie. Never understood the appeal or praise.

My daughter wanted to watch The Christmas Chronicles for family movie night, so I went into it thinking I would just hate it, but it was actually pretty good. Kurt Russell was awesome as Santa. She has already informed us that we will be watching the sequel next weekend.

Similar to Christmas Chronicles 2, Disenchanted was not a good movie

I didn't hate Disenchanted, but it pales to the first and really provides no reason to watch it again.

We watched Amazon original The People We Hate at the Wedding. Bad reviews but we both enjoyed it. Wasn't laugh out loud funny but it was enjoyable and kind of heartfelt and I always enjoy Kristen Bell.

Oldest son and I watched Devotion. Very good movie, definitely worth watching in a theater. Had some pacing issues, but a really good story. CGI wasn't too jarring for the most part, and lots of air combat porn.

I'm sure military historians will pick the movie apart, but the only thing that stood out for me was to hear Navy officer refer to Marines as soldiers.

I liked the movie in 1999, at release. I have not watched it since (and didn't finish it this time either lol)

Have a soft spot for Enchanted, so a sequel 15-odd years later has a steep hill for us to buy in.

A Christmas Story Christmas is the most worthy successor to A Christmas Story by a long shot. And a fair comedy on its own.
I laughed, I cried. Can't ask for much more than that.

Just watched this tonight as well. I agree that it’s a much better successor than A Christmas Story 2. It has a surprising amount of heart and it was fun seeing all of the old child actors back. The narration and dream sequences were a big miss for me though. I understand they wanted to carry those over from the original but both felt forced and unnecessary. Remove those and it’s a much better movie.

Yeah, those were hit or miss.

I really appreciated the inclusion of Flick's bar. That's the core narrative driver for the book so I loved it.

I did really like when
Ralphie reading the old man story transitioned into the beginning of the original movie. That was a really sweet way to tie it to the original. Although it also makes the new film’s VO feel even more out of place.
