If you haven't watched Won't You Be My Neighbor, do it. I never liked Mr. Roger's Neighborhood much when I was a kid, but I shed a few tears while watching it. What a wonderful, genuine human being.

Yeah we saw it in the theaters when it played in Pittsburgh... not a dry eye in the theater.

Toy Story 4 has 111 reviews and is a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Unbelievable. They've done it again.

They never should have remade 12 Angry Men. They come across as accomplished actors putting on a high school play version of 12 Angry Men.

I didn't think we needed a Hunger Games prequel, but here we are.

Made for TV in 1997.

I loved the original, but I thought they did a pretty damn good job with this one.

Ossie Davis, George C. Scott, James Gandolfini, Hume Cronyn, Jack Lemmon returning, etc. It also had William Friedkin directing, which never hurts.

I've only ever seen the original, which was outstanding. I have no interest in that remake.

It's on Amazon Prime but is leaving at the end of the month so I put it on last night to see how it compared to the original. Tony Danza as the juror with the baseball tickets, woof.

When we were looking for a wedding venue, we went to the "Studio on Fifth" which is the old Mister Rogers studio at WQED. The studio was cool to see, with a bit of the Neighborhood floor recreated by the original artist, but to get to the studio you have to walk through the WQED office, which looks exactly how you'd imagine a public access office built in the late 60s to look. The point of all this was to say that the day before we visited, the film crew was there shooting with Tom Hanks. I was shocked that they'd take the time to come shoot at this studio when it looks like literally every other small studio in the world.

Is it common for adults at my age (38) to have a strong dislike for Elmo?

My kids (thankfully) didn't get into Elmo, but I thought the pictures were sweet. I'm getting soff in my middle age, I guess.

Isn't the Elmo puppeteer the one who diddled kids?

I guess part of it, aside from the generally annoying demeanor, is the constant referring to itself in the third person. It always came across as blatant self-branding to me. Which worked since it was hot **** for a few years.
