I just can’t appreciate that car solely based on the looks of it.
Do you mean you are unable to appreciate it because of how it looks?

Or, do you mean the looks are not enough but once you see it in motion and hear the motor you're instantly in love?

I need to know so I may judge you accordingly.

A mix of both, to be honest. I hate the shape of it.

https://www.slashfilm.com/david-lynch-w ... ry-oscars/

With seven Academy Award nominations between them but no wins, directors David Lynch and Lina Wertmüller and actor Wes Studi are going to take home Oscars of their own after all. The Academy has announced that its Board of Governors has voted to present Lynch, Wertmüller, and Studi with Honorary Oscars, which are given “to honor extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement, exceptional contributions to the state of motion picture arts and sciences, or for outstanding service to the Academy.”

Soooo...Participation Oscars?

:pop:
Call it whatever you want, but it's still quite an honor! While the others have been nominated, it's cool to see Wes Studi in there.

apparently the movie is much more trippy than what's being shown, but I'm a sucker for space movies.

I don't know how this could end up being a good movie but I'm intrigued. The Big Toe, The Hook, and The Red Spot are the tales I remember most from the books.

Also, Dark Phoenix is apparently terrible. Raise your hand if you're surprised by this news.

I also saw the new Rebel Wilson vehicle is apparently terrible. Is anyone still interested in watching her "I'm super fat and funny" schtick anymore?

I have a trip coming up and figured I'd download some movies on Netflix and Prime, as well as... well, let's just say a co-worker has a collection of movies rated "Rrrrrgh".

Anyways, for whatever reason I thought "ya know what movie I haven't watched in a while? Dogma..." so I went to find it and to my surprise it's not really available anywhere unless I want to pirate it myself. Weird.

I think everybody involved knows it's terrible. It was pushed out with little promotion. Sweep that **** under the rug and let Marvel take the reins.

This is the first movie on JustWatch I have ever seen with no streaming options. Amazing.

I downloaded the John Wick movies last year, but never watched them on my flights. Maybe that was a good thing, as I should have all three by next summer’s flights, and will be able to watch them all in a row.

Spend 90 minutes setting up a fierce, strong, independent female character - who at one point actually says "men are unnecessary" - and then in the final battle, she is only able to become her full self and realize the extent of her powers the day after the first dude she ever met slips his wing wang up her hoo haw and says "I love you". I seriously was like, 'did this just happen'......
