As someone who is just now delving into the comic-based source material/backstories, a predicted non-core character death that will irrationally piss me off...Who is going to die? My money is on cap, vision, Loki and maybe a guardian

Watched patriot games last night for a little St Patrick's warmup, such a great movie. Got mint chocolate chip milkshakes, Darby o Gill, some stouts and the commitments ready to go for this evening.

Fights are all about emotional content (per Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon), and as such it just does not get better than Chingachgook v Magua. There is like no dialog for the last five minutes until the final soliloquy. Such a great movie.

I just wish I could get the theatrical cut on Blu Ray. Mann's extended version loses some of the power.

Wat
There's no 1080p version of the theatrical cut?

Am I the only person that enjoys going to movies by themselves?
I'm happily heading to the cinema tonight by myself, and realized that I might be in the very significant minority of people who enjoy that.

https://t.co/kvYxKtVZI8Wow. A Christian-rock movie with a seven-million-dollar budget may outgross A WRINKLE IN TIME in its second weekend.

People who see Christian movies see all of them. I can't believe anyone has seen A Wrinkle in Time.

I heard great things about the Christian film...it's fresh on RT. Pretty incredible that it has a fresh score and Trace Adkins is the 3rd billed actor

Thanks.Following up on this -Anyone ever go to the IMAX at Loews in the Waterfront? Any good? Worth the extra ticket price?
The IMAX experience at the Waterfront is garbage. My seats were pretty terrible - second to last row on the left side of the screen - but had I known that they were actually BEHIND the rear speakers I wouldn’t have purchased them. Also, leg room is non existent and I had a railing blocking the lower right side of the screen. Who knew theaters had obstructed view seating?
From now on it’s regular screenings with VIP seating or bust.
Where should someone go if they want a good experience?
Rangos seems like a waste since they don't seem to do first run movies.

Rangos is stuck because of the rules that (mostly Disney) is forcing on theaters. April/May is the main school field trip season. They definitely could and want to show Infinity War, but Disney won't let them show any other movies in that auditorium for something like 6 weeks. They can't show a science doc to the kids at noon and then Infinity War all evening long.
They did say there will be two blockbusters this summer, and I assume Jurassic World will be one of them.

I don't know what that Infinity War thing is, I'm just trying to find a place to watch Ready Player One that's better than the regular theater I go to.
I am going to see Back To The Future at Rangos which will have something like 5 showings from 20-22 April, so I'm not really following your logic entirely. You seem to be saying Disney/Star Wars sucks so I'll go ahead and cosign your position.

The non-IMAX theaters at the Waterfront are great so long as you get the VIP seating. The field of view, extra leg room, and small side table next to the arm rests are well worth the higher price.I don't know what that Infinity War thing is, I'm just trying to find a place to watch Ready Player One that's better than the regular theater I go to.

I'm sure the IMAX would be passable, though it's not a true IMAX and honestly I don't think the screen was all that bigger than the traditional theaters. Just note that the last 4 or 5 rows are behind the rear speakers. Completely asinine.
I'll take a slightly smaller screen with a much more comfortable seat any day over their "IMAX."

Back to the Future isn't really competing for screens right now. If someone wants to go to Universal or whoever is charge of distributing/licensing it to theaters they will probably take anything they can get.
a company like Disney wants to get their marque films in all the "high end" auditoriums (Imax, XD, Atmos, DolbyVision, etc). And theater owners certainly want to show big films in those auditoriums. But Disney comes along and says if I let you show it, you HAVE to show only it for X number of weeks. You can't show Infinity War until Deadpool comes out and then stick that in there - I bet they're really squeezing everyone and saying that if a theater wants to show Infinity War they also have to show Solo for X amount of time too.
