Gave Thor: Ragnarok a rewatch. Definitely holds up as one of the better Marvel movies.
I really enjoyed Korg a lot more the second time around.

Can't believe Shape of Water was made for $19.5 mil. That movie is going to stick with me for a while. What a gorgeous film and everyone in that movie was superb.

I couldn't believe that Michael Shannon wasn't nominated for anything. He was fantastic.

Still have not seen Covenant, and have no plans to change that.

I have the Alien Covenant 4k bluray sitting downstairs unopened. I will watch it someday.

From what I understand of the story (having watched a few spoilercast reviews) it doubles down on all the things they did wrong in Prometheus at the expense of the one thing they got right.
Engineers created humans; humans created artificial persons; artificial person steals fire from the gods and creates xenomorphs. **** that noise, right in the ear.

Watched Justice League again. Still a big dumb fun movie that moves pretty fast. My wifes first reaction was, too many butt shots of wonder woman. Uh, yeah honey, this is a PG-13 superhero movie aimed at teenage kids. There is also literally a 10 second slo-motion catwalk clip of shirtless Jason Momoa with waves crashing and his hair blowing in tight jeans followed by a shirtless superman scene for some reason and we literally have a running gag of my face photoshopped on shirtless superman after you blushed during the first movie. I guess what I'm getting at is, I'm not always right, in fact very little am I right, but when that moment comes around when you are, you don't need to hammer it home and you probably don't need to go down you better not become an ultra feminist route either. Especially don't do this when the significant other is not in a good mood to begin with. So yeah, what a dumb fun movie that I really enjoyed the 2nd time around and I can promise you, the low camera angles of Gal Gadot didn't even blip on my radar for issues with this movie.

The scariest thing about Get Out were the ubiquitous use of Windows phones and Surface Pro tablets.

I kid, I kid.

Very entertaining movie and a bit creepy, obviously.

I thought it was a good movie. The group of people who think it should have won Best Picture at the Academy Awards should be jettisoned into space.

I do not buy her as Wonder Woman, but I do heavily buy into the above.

WW is supposed to be 6' tall and weigh 150+ pounds. Gadot, while supremely hot, is a waif in comparison. I do not look at her and see 'Amazon warrior lady'. I see 'Miss Universe model'.

I have not seen it, so I'm going on the takes from those I trust who have. It seems like it merits some sort of recognition simply for being a wholly original story idea in an age where kind of everything Hollywood produces is based on something else.
