What has happened to Liam Neeson. He used to be a good actor in good movies, but man, it looks like he is just taking any script presented to him.

We watched Memory last night. Very forgettable.

Since his wife died I think his only focus has been on staying busy.

The feature-length followup will reunite stars Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong. Original cast members Donald Glover, Yvette Nicole Brown and Chevy Chase are not attached.
Meh.

I was wrong, tifosi77, it's still just as creepy if the actor signs off on it.
I mean, surely he doesn't need the money, right?

Meh.
Brown and Chase are not important. Glover will be missed. I'll still watch it.

He might. But he's a busy dude and he's missed other events the crew have done together.

I put on Rob Zombie's Munsters out of morbid curiosity this afternoon. I made it 15 minutes. It's... I don't really know what it is. It's just kind of there. I can't imagine there's an audience for this.

“That’s just the world we live in, unfortunately,” Eichner continued. “Even with glowing reviews, great Rotten Tomatoes scores, an A CinemaScore, etc., straight people, especially in certain parts of the country, just didn’t show up for Bros. And that’s disappointing but it is what it is.”

Eichner concluded his thoughts by encouraging “everyone who isn’t a homophobic weirdo” to see “Bros,” writing that it remains “special and uniquely powerful to see this particular story on a big screen.”
The crying about this movie flopping is getting silly. It's a comedy...people generally don't flock to theaters to see romantic comedies. The homophobia complaint also rings hollow. They made the decision to put a pretty graphic sex scene between two men in the film. Most people, in my experience, don't enjoy watching that. Even folks that are pretty tolerant/accepting.

Not to mention that if Billy Eichner is the lead in any movie, your star power is not that great.

Movie targeted at 7% of the population has poor showing at box office. Weird.

Being gay isn't inherently interesting on its own. It's not a personality.

The advertising campaign for that movie is excessive

How do rom coms perform in general? This film is a niche audience in a niche genre. Of course it underperformed. And if they want to blame straight people for not going to see it, maybe take a look at the marketing. The trailers and tv spots solely focused on the fact that it’s a gay story. The characters showed zero traits except their sexuality. The jokes were all predicated on their sexuality. It almost felt exploitive to be honest. But regardless, don’t blame straight people when you release a film in a genre that already doesn’t do well at the box office and market it just on the fact that it’s about a gay couple.

I think yinz hit the nail on the head.

Brokeback Mountain was a great film for that reason.

I was really surprised at all of the Hocus Pocus 2 premiere parties I saw from friends on social media. People made cookies and had themed finger foods for their screenings. I'm slightly less surprised that this beat out all of the Marvel and Pixar premieres. In case people are wondering why "Hollywood doesn't have any original ideas," this is why.

I always enjoy going back and watching Bad Santa at Christmas time, so that movie looks to be in a similar vein.
