Watched Venom again with the family. I like this movie a lot and think the interaction with venom and Eddie is quite funny.

I've been wanting to catch that one for a while, feel like it's never streaming for "free" anywhere.

Yeah, will probably just bite the bullet at some point, it's right up my alley.

If you missed it when it was in theaters (and you did, since it was a very limited domestic release), "A Monster Calls" is now on Netflix, and it's worth checking out.

Upgrade was great. I know it wasn't your favorite, but I also liked his take on invisible man

I think Teri Garr is the only living cast member from Young Frankenstein save Gene Hackman...

Invisible Man was really good but it was just heavy handed with the feminist commentary. Sign of the times I guess. Noteworthy and needed but took me out of the movie a little.

Watched In & of Itself on hulu. I don't know who this Derek delguadio magician is, but I don't get the hype of this. Felt like Keith Raneire doing card tricks for 5 minutes (which was awesome) and then a class on nxivm the rest of the 1hr10 minutes. This was all over the place and the show would've probably ended with me because I wouldn't bring the book back for the next show. I don't know why everyone says go in blind because nothing is spoiled reading about it. I kept yelling at the tv DO MORE MAGIC
he filmed everyone getting the cards so probably has an ear piece of someone telling him what they picked, right?

Also if you watch this, try not laugh when you see a picture of this guy as a kid during the show and not think he looks like Rocky from Christmas vacation. Pretty sure I'm a terrible person for laughing as much as I did through this as that's not the intention of this feel good show.

Funniest animated movie of all time is Emperor's New Groove. Agree, Y/N?

I'd have to think hard about funniest, but Emperor's New Groove is definitely funny.

Sure it's good, but it's not even better than cloudy with a chance of meatballs, kung fu panda, and south park movie just to rattle off 3

I literally pissed myself laughing the first time I saw the South Park Movie so that's got my vote.

In what sort of communist hellscape is this even up for discussion? I guess we're just pretending Bigger, Longer & Uncut doesn't exist.

I definitely completely forgot about the South Park movie somehow when I was thinking about this

Panda is very good, I wouldn't say it's extremely funny or anything. Can't speak to Cloudy.

I would also nominate Chicken Run ahead of any of the other non-South Park films. Simpsons Movie and LEGO Batman area also solid on the yucks.
