Saw an extended trailer for The Northman before The Batman the other day. Looks really cool - very different, and it might get me into an actual theater for a non-Marvel/Star Wars/Big Dumb Action film.
Welp, never got to the theater to see it, but finally watched it over the weekend. Wished I'd seen it in the theater, but very well done. Seems to be getting review bombed on IMdB for some reason, but it was well made and visually stunning.

No idea why the US can't get their **** together, but if anyone is interested in 4k of bloodsport, it will be coming out in December in Germany. Hopefully it gets here for Christmas, because that will be a great gift for the kids.

This will show you how long it's been since I've really kept up on physical media, but are 4k discs not region locked?

Back in my day, I got screwed when I accidentally bought a PAL version of Red Dragon from eBay.

Coworkers in the UK used to send me PAL recordings of F1 races, and I'd give them to my friend who worked a post production house and he'd convert them to VHS for me during down time.

Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law live action movie starring Channing Tatum as Harvey Birdman. Have Colbert play the character he voiced. I’m in.

Watched Shaun of the Dead, Real Genius and Commando. All 3 are terrific. It's been a long time since I watched Shaun, it was clunkier than I remembered.

Finally watched Into the Spiderverse today. Immediately jumps into my Top 5 animated movie of all time list. It's up there.

Unique, beautiful to look at, great story, great music, great everything.

Took me a long time to get to it as well, but it's fantastic.

I am going to spend October getting caught up on Friday the 13th. HBO Max has a few of them, Final Friday and the Friday the 13th they made a few years ago.

The last one I ever saw was Jason Takes Manhattan. I'll need to track down how many 'new' ones there actually are.

*edit*
I may have already seen Final Friday. Is that the one where he goes around barfing his heart into other bodies or whatever?

I thought about going and seeing Clerks III, which was released on September 13th. But, it's already in and out of theaters locally. Damn.

I'll just have to stream it on October 14th when it's released there.

It wasn’t a true release. Instead they did some weird Fathom Events thing along with a city by city tour.

At Konami, we took to simply throwing Nerf darts at each other to while away the hours. But I would've made an exception for this.
