Incredibles 2 was a frigging blast.

Incredibly enjoyable movie. It's been a while since I've seen the original but initial impression was me liking 2 more than 1.

I give the edge to 1, although I have also seen 1 in the last few weeks.

My only major gripe with 2 was:

I thought the antagonist was kind of lame/not well thought out. Like, you are angry at superheroes because your parents were killed, but the only reason they were killed is because superheroes were banned? I'm not expecting serious depth of course
I did enjoy it a lot.

Also, the short beforehand, "Bai". At first, I was wondering WTF kind of weirdo Asian sht I was watching, but by the end, as I sat there with my four year old, I started tearing up. Damn it Pixar!!!!

It seems to be a concession to the notion that everything in Hollywood 1) has to be a sequel or derivative work, and 2) must be 'bigger' than the preceding material (in this case literally). It is the only way big studio films know how to 'up the stakes'.

I actually just saw the Reddit post with that poster, and the top comment was "Brad Pitt is morphing into Robert Redford". Needless to say I feel much more vindicated for making that mistake

I thought part of the appeal of Brad Pitt was he always looked like Redford?

Jurassic Park fallen kingdom was fun. The premise was absurd but I enjoyed myself. Plenty of action with little logic lol.

You had a start time of 4 seconds included, you had to delete the "&t=4s" from the end. Otherwise it was good.
