Watched this movie called Eighth Grade on prime last night. Oh no. It was terrifying. If you want a movie that makes you want to punch 15 year olds and smash cell phones, go ahead and watch the horrors that this movie entails. Ultimately it has a good message in teh end, but holy **** did I feel uncomfortable for 90 minutes. I'm just about in the father daughter range of this movie and it really was eye opening for what kids deal with today. get rid of all the cell phones.

Yeah, I got about 2 minutes into the movie and it felt like I was eavesdropping on my seventh grader and his friends. Nope.

I am relieved I have a good relationship with my kids and while watching that I kept thinking, oh that's not us, but I'd be lying if it didn't question what the hell is about to happen to me or my kids. My kids are not getting cell phones until they can pay for them themselves and after watching that movie, I realized that I am completely in the dark about social media and there is a 100% chance that I would smash my kids cell phone off the wall if this is a real representation of what kids do today. I'm terrified of how dumb kids are

More I think about it, am pretty sure this was Clint's version of the Shootist.

If you know that reference you'll understand what I mean.

I remember seeing Kids back when it came out. What a strange movie that was.

I liked Venom. I actually enjoyed the inner voice banter.

James Gunn's "ALL NEW" Suicide Squad movie doesn't seem like it's going to be all that new after all. They said from the start that Harley Quinn would be in it in some way, they re-cast Idris Elba as Deadshot, and now Jai Courtney, who was good in something for the first time in his career, will be back as Captain Boomerang.
Sounds like Elba is playing a new character, not Deadshot

Bumblebee was a pretty great family movie and easily the best transformers live action movie I've seen. I'll be happy when the John Cena in movies thing is over, he's so bad.

Also watched Hudson Hawk which is one of the finest motion pictures in the history of cinema. The Mayflowers remind me of live action team rocket.

Highwaymen, the Netflix original about the hunt for Bonnie & Clyde is pretty darn good.

Shazam! was a lot of fun. Probably # two DCU film behind Wonder Woman.

Bonus: Philadelphia gets trashed a bit, so that's nice.

It wasn't Jaws, but it was absolutely a better and more polished version of Deep Blue Sea.

How dare you. The twist of eating SLJ in the middle of his speech was a turn of genius.

For as awful as DBS was, that was an absolutely epic scene and twist. It is still a meme with the friend I saw the movie with.

I was impressed. I also think Woody Harrelson has become one of the absolute best actors of his generation.

The scene at the end, especially with the AP reporter, was a good commentary on today.

In continuing my theme of enjoying stupid movies, Skyscraper was fun/absurd. Neve Campbell is looking good for 45.
