Hmm. Their attempt to restart the universe while keeping the stuff that people liked (Harley, Wonder Woman, Aquaman) is good to be odd. A Flashpoint movie that resets the timeline would have made logical sense but I don't expect a Flash movie starring Ezra Miller to ever happen at this point. Apparently a Superman cameo in Shazam is dependent on Henry Cavill renewing his contract. If he decides to come back they'll have half of the Justice League while rebooting Batman with a younger actor in what seems to be an unconnected universe, a Harley-less Suicide Squad, starring new actors and characters, while keeping her around for Birds of Prey, and Joaquin Phoenix's unconnected Joker movie while shutting the door on the Leto disaster.Margot Robbie will not be in the new suicide squad movie.
I'm happy that they seem to be making better movies, but what a cluster.

Watched The Searchers. That dirt dog Ethan definitely had a fling with his brothers wife, Martha. Those filming locations in AZ are breathtaking.

They had a comic crossover last year that I enjoyed very much so I'm looking forward to this. 2 of my favorite comics/superheroes.

Written by Richard Curtis and Directed by Danny Boyle. Done deal. That looks like a lot of fun! This looks interesting.
If by "interesting" and "fun" yinz mean "a movie that you shouldn't operate heavy machinery after watching because you brain will be asleep for hours due to excessive pure boredom"... then yes, I agree.

Why is it called Batman Vs. TMNT if they're teaming up together?

Have you ever watched My Best Fiend? It is a documentary by Werner Herzog regarding his crazy relationship with Kinski. He tried to burn down his house one time and pulled a gun on him on another set. It's a wild story.Watched A Few Dollars More. Terrific movie, loved the story. Oh yeah! Herzog is one of my very favorite film makers and when those 2 get together, magic happens, he was such an odd presence on screen, they were perfect for each other! Kinski was a deeply disturbed individual and the sexual abuse stuff of his kids is terrible.Have you ever watched My Best Fiend? I don’t have high hopes after the disappointment of the 2001 miniseries. The big appeal of the first movie is the Lynch weirdness.

I'm reading Dune for the first time right now.
I don't get why people love it so much.

I've never seen the miniseries, but have always liked the Lynch movie because Lynch and I tend to be drawn to weird things. I honestly think Villeneuve is the absolute best choice right now to make this movie and so far he is doing no wrong with that cast. I can't wait! Dune and Terminator were the first movies that I ever saw on a VCR. The VCR and tapes were rented from a local grocery store by my aunt and uncle when I was visiting their farm for a weekend.
