That's one I'll let my wife take my daughter to see while I stay home doing literally anything else.

Roadhouse? I mean I guess that's a good one to learn about the birds and the bees...

Frozen is a great movie. Don't let your hatred of Let it Go cloud your judgement.

I thought I hated Frozen, but my wife said it's the kids that didn't like it and I did. Nothing about that sounds correct.

We took our boys to it after seeing the Olaf-themed trailer, thinking it was a typical Disney adventure cartoon. They enjoyed it, but we had no indication that it was a princess/musical type thing. Now of course, they hate it, but they liked it at the time. Very clever marketing by the House of Mouse.

By the way, the Frozen ride at Disney World is better than Maelstrom. If this was a Disney World themed board, that would be the hottest of takes.

Are you referring to "Frozen Ever After" in Epcot? My daughter refused to go on it since it was a boat, after being scared shitless on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride the day before.

Yup. It replaced the old Maelstrom ride in Norway. There’s a backwards “drop” while Elsa sings Let it Go. It’s great.

Alien Anthology bluray set for $20

https://www.amazon.com/Alien-Anthology- ... 1AQO3QA&m=
One of my favorite movie sets that I own. The BTS special features are fantastic.
The BTS stuff for 3 and Resurrection is better than the source movies. The basketball shot story is fantastic.

I like 3, but agreed. I think part of the reason why I like 3 is from being fascinated by the disasterous production.

Looks beautiful. I just hope there's a decent story to justify a sequel and not just more $$$. Also will be interesting to see how they try to top Let it Go.
This is the basic problem that most filmmakers never really handle: They set out to 'top' the high points from the original, and it generally makes the sequel a lesser product.

Just tell a great story in an interesting way. The only way Toy Story 2 and 3 'topped' the first one was in the animation tech. And the emotional pull that 3 had was down to it being (as was believed at the time) the end game for the IP, so that incinerator scene and Andy dropping off the toy box......... and now I'm crying.

(Which there's a Pixar documentary on Netflix that's pretty great; similar to ILM, they sort of invent stuff on the fly to tell the story they are trying to tell, but unlike ILM they are holistically responsible for the entire film, not just visuals.)

I completely agree, but you know the Mouse is up in his tower smoking a cigar and demanding they create "Let it Go but FIVE THOUSAND times better."

What's 5,000 times better than Candle in the Wind? 5,000 Candles in the Wind.

There is a very good movie locked up in 3's story, but it was sadly hidden from view by David Giler.

Fun fact: Tom Woodruff, Jr. - of the VFX company Amalgamated Dynamics, who took over for Stan Winston on 3 - is yinzer-adjacent, from Williamsport.

Frozen is a great movie, even if Let It Go isn't even my favorite song from that movie (that would be First Time in Forever and/or Frozen Heart). That said, it holds a special place in my heart as when my daughter was not even a year old, I used to play that video and it would make her stop crying every time.

Actually, the only thing I really hate about Frozen is Olaf/Josh Gad.

You're not the first, second, or third person I've heard say that. I hate him as well, but kids love him for some reason.

Looks like it might be a bit darker than the original. Not that the original didn't have its' dark moments.
