He had a couple of minor directing credits on IMdB after that, including the cool BMW ads with Clive Owen.
So funny..... my favorite YouTube channel is Retro Replay, and I just watched an episode earlier today where they talk about that BMW ad campaign.

Reindeer Games was one of those films!
Jesus christ, does Ben Affleck have an all-time bad movie performance in that one.

Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms, though.

We somehow missed watching Klaus over the holidays, but it's excellent. A Santa origin story, if you will. Very well done.

I thought it had the right amount of balance, I'll always take more cosmic horror, but I thought this worked here. For such a simple story, I thought there was a lot to digest. For being set in the 1890s, I thought they did a wonderful job at making me feel and think about what working these kind of jobs would have been like. For 2 hours, I was completely transported to this weird and intense place in time and loved being there!

Matt Damon is Denny Malone in James Mangold's The Force. Shaping up nicely, can't wait for this.

‘Captain Marvel’ Sequel Officially In Development At Disney’s Marvel Studios

Brie Larson will return as the intrepid Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, a former military pilot who taps into cosmic energies that make her a powerhouse champion for Earth when interplanetary dangers threaten the fragile globe. Larson’s no-nonsense hero also packed a wallop at the box office, with $1.13 billion in global box office.

A Marvel source says that Megan McDonnell, part of the writing team for the upcoming Disney+ MCU series WandaVision, is in advanced negotiations to chart the course for Captain Marvel’s second cinematic solo flight. The original film was the 22nd Marvel Studios film, but the first with a female hero as the lead title character.

Moving away from the writers and directors of the original is a smart move.

SpectreVision is releasing Richard Stanley‘s Color Out of Space in theaters this weekend, and as we recently learned, it’s not the only H.P. Lovecraft tale that SpectreVision and Stanley are looking to bring to the screen in the near future. In fact, they’re looking to build out an entire “Lovecraft universe” of films, and next up will be Stanley’s take on The Dunwich Horror.

Speaking with Rue Morgue ahead of the release of the Nicolas Cage-starring Color Out of Space, Stanley noted just last week that filming on The Dunwich Horror will “hopefully” begin later this year. Furthermore, he confirms that each of his planned Lovecraft adaptations will exist within the same world that kicks off with this year’s Color Out of Space.

“I’m pleased to say that SpectreVision has basically greenlit two more Lovecraft adaptations, and I’m currently prepping my new adaptation of The Dunwich Horror,” he told the site. “It will be set in the same milieu as Color Out of Space, in a near-future, disaster-struck Arkham County. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get that before the cameras this winter.”

Stanley added, “With Dunwich Horror, we’ll go on campus and get back to Miskatonic University for the first time since Re-Animator. We’ll also get to deal with the Necronomicon, the black book at the core of the mythos. So I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on this.”

Very excited about Color Out of Space and the return of Richard Stanley and the new Lovecraft multiverse.

1917 was exceptional. More art than strict realism, but the spectacle more than forgives the choices made.

Knives Out was well done. Good old fashioned murder mystery.
