He's right about Wolverine's character being small, so I'll give him that. Jackman is 6'2", but I had to look it up because I swear that he doesn't actually seem to be that tall. That said, it's simply not possible to find a suitable actor for that role if we're limiting height to something like 5'3".

I am currently watching "The Upside"... I would rather have Kevin Hart play Wolverine than another 6' guy.
turn it off and go watch the original french version

What? Take this to the bad takes thread.
Jim's takes are amazing.

Heart is 5'3, stocky, actually muscular. He usually plays funny, but It's not hard to scowl and not talk much. He fits Wolverine WAY better than Jackman did for X-Men.

Yeah, MI3 was much better than the first two.

That opening scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman (miss that guy) interrogating Cruise with a gun to Michelle Monaghan's head was really intense. Hoffman could play understated sinister really well.

Aquaman is not the worst movie I have ever seen, but it seems pretty close. What an absolute piece of **** film. Just never ending mediocre CGI, terrible dialogue, dumb story, dumb villains, and one of the worst scores to ever offend my ears. HOT **** GARBAGE.

Only the other hand, Shazam! was great. Sivana and his motivation is pretty weak, but beyond that it was a great story with excellent performances. Nice to see Chuck Bartowski get a win in a major film development and
Seth Cohen as the adult version of Freddy was brilliant casting.

Yeah Aquaman is not good at all. I mean most DC movies outside of Wonder Woman are really bad. I have not seen Shazam yet, but have heard good things.

Shazam! is a shade below Wonder Woman, imo. But far above most of the other recent DC dreck.

Aquaman is probably the most rewatchable fun DC movie since the reboot IMO. I liked Shazam a lot, but once or twice is enough for me.

I just rewatched it last night since my daughter hadn't seen it.

It's fun, but Manta is terrible. Some of the characters were a little too over the top design/CGI ways.

I liked it much better in the theater than at home.

I still have trouble judging Wonder Woman as a movie because as long as Gal Gadot is on screen I'm fine with whatever is happening.

But that doesn't look like the family friendly material everyone is accustomed to Disney releasing.

I prefer Jeremy Saulnier for my dark and bleak movies. Cooper's movies are so damn depressing for me. They do look nice though.
