I’m with you. I really hated J&SB Reboot but I’m hoping this is more of a return to his roots. Reboot was a direct sequel to Strike Back which I always thought was the weakest of the View Askewniverse. I liked Clerks 2 so if it’s more of that I’ll be happy. Plus Jeff Anderson is always fun to watch.

34 or 35, I think. There are at least two movies on that list I know for a fact I've seen, but I can't remember a single thing about them plot-wise.

Not sure how they compiled this list, it seems kind of haphazard.

Had to google Trainwreck. The German title is Dating Queen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Actually 30. I started having vague recollections of a Dwayne Johnson movie that took place in a skyscraper.

What’s the common denominator in that list? Why is this even something to discuss?

36 that I can recall. May have seen 1 or 2 more but can’t recall. I think Blue Crush was about a female surfer. And have watched parts of others like The Purge but didn’t count them.

American Graffiti
American Pie
Apollo 13
Bridesmaids
Do the Right Thing
Jurassic Park
Minions
40-Year Old Virgin
Bourne Identity
Trainwreck
True Lies

11 for sure
I think i've seen Backdraft

Sure I've seen at least parts of Jaws, Blues Brothers and ET, but don't ever recall sitting down and watching those start to finish.

I think the unifying factor is they’re all Universal Pictures movies but that’s obviously not a comprehensive list (for example, Universal produced all of the F&F movies but this list only has 3)

It’s a randomly assorted subset

Well spotted, weenie. I don't think many here would've known Universal had the international distribution rights for True Lies.
