8.5 rating with 1.3 million reviews on IMdB. I think underrated comes in to play because it's not revered at the same level as the Batman Trilogy, Interstellar, Memento, Dunkirk, etc.
I've never seen it, but some of that is because it came out the same year as my oldest son was born and I was in grad school. So yeah. RIP free time.
(It's on Hulu though, so I'll probably check it out soon)

I wouldn't call it underrated at all. It's rated exactly where it should be. It's very good, especially on the first watch. Rewatchability isn't really there for me in the same way as some of Nolan's others movies. I just don't think as many people saw it as his other movies. Those that did seem to rate it appropriately. It was also part of that really weird phenomenon where two similiar-ish movies comes out in the same year. Prestige and Illusionist, Armageddon and Deep Impact, This is the End and The World's End, Dante's Peak and Volcano, Pinocchio and Pinocchio, etc.

I feel like I remember watching a good video about twin films and why they happen on YouTube but I can’t remember who made it

The twin films that stick in my mind are Dante's Peak and Volcano, because Volcano is set in my old neighborhood. (They stop the lava pretty much at the end of my old block)

Volcano is an underrated disaster movie.

I also love mockbusters, the genre of shameless knockoff movies created solely with the intention of tricking grandmas into thinking they were the “actual” movie

Deep Impact is an actual movie. Armageddon was made by Michael Bay, so.......

Train astronauts to drill or train drillers to be astronauts. Hextall would chose the later.

Haunted Mansion is my favorite classic Disney ride and I love how much of the ride is in this trailer. Between this and the Muppet's Haunted Mansion, maybe we'll be able to forget about that Eddie Murphy garbage. Big Thunder Railroad and Tower of Terror are also in development. Bring on the Disney ride cinematic universe.

It’s good but I felt like it’s overrated. Men in Tights is my preferred Cary Elwes in spandex film
