I don't mind Ultron. Can't fault Whedon for having to cram in all of the foreshadowing to set up Civil War through Endgame.

I didn’t realize that Taika was in this. Nice.

Seeing the TOGO trailer on Disney+ makes me want an Ironwill remake.

The chemistry between Gadot and Pine was objectively the best thing about the first movie. But he......... died, and yet here he is again, confirming once more that character stakes in superhero movies aren't a thing..

First movie is 1hr 45min of Girl Power with a hero who literally speaks the line that men aren't necessary, but who isn't able to realize her full potential until the actual first man she ever meets slips her the D and says "I love you".

It's now official. Shazam 2 has finally been announced. Warner Bros. made the announcement today at CCXP in Brazil and the fans in attendance went nuts. Zachary Levi will be back, but it's unclear when production will begin. Earlier this year, before the sequel was announced, Levi estimated that production could start as early as summer 2020, which would make sense in terms of the timeline. However, we have yet to receive official confirmation on that matter as of this writing.

She felt like a whole person to me, and that is what mostly resonated. Not that she was all powerful, not that a man was part of her development.

Edit: but oh my God, I hated the wedge high heel boots. Seriously, let a woman wear shoes that make sense.

The Report was very good. Does not put the Bush (obviously) or Obama White Houses in good light.

I really am enjoying first-run films appearing on streaming services after brief theatrical runs. A film like this one would get lost at the metroplex and I would end up forgetting about it.

There's that other Adam Driver movie on Netflix I need to see as well.

I keep hearing, oh it's funny, but it does not sound funny or appealing to me however good it's supposed to be

Oh **** a Ghostbusters sequel that looks good. Crazy what good writing can do (at least in this small sample size.)

How much will we see the original cast though? Cameos? Stars?

Yeah this looks good. I am still being cautiously optimistic, but I like everything I have seen so far. Lots of nice little callbacks in that trailer. Crazy what a good script along with a director who cares about the franchise can do.

Holy ****. It's been a long time since I've gotten chills from a trailer. The line that got me was"My grandfather died. My mom says we're just here to pick through the rubble of his life," and I realized who the kids were.

I'm sure I've gone on that "Ghostbusters is my favorite movie" rant here before so I'll spare everyone. My excitement level is far too high now. They're going to disappoint. At the very least, though, it can't be as bad as Answer the Call.

Sidenote: I'm going to miss NYC. I don't want to use the cliche that New York was essentially a character in the first films, but New York was essentially a character in the first films.

I can't fault Whedon either, but that doesn't change the fact that the movie is an absolutely slog to get through.

A CGI ghost Egon would be enough to destroy my excitement. I hope they don't go that route. It'd be different if Ramis wasn't actually dead.

I'm putting a lot of faith into them not messing this up, but for some reason I feel Jason Reitman knows to not make a shitty ghostbusters movie. Everything so far has been positive. Will just keep hoping for more goodness leading up to release.

I'm going more of a fan service route. It's not like he-who-is-named-on-the-sign designed the ranch/mine thingy, Egon would've bestowed that name.

This ecto-containment system that Spengler and I have in mind is going to require a load of bread to capitalize. Where are we going to get the money?
