Not gonna lie, I was hoping we were getting Lion King CGI real cats, but I guess there's only so much weird you can push for.

Haha Cybill comment was having just seen Taxi Driver...wanted to know if anyone had thoughts on her as an actress...

Seems like a Quadruple-A player at best...attractive, "yeah, but..." ok actress, "yeah, but..."

I mostly knew her from her mid-90s sitcom, where I liked her alcoholic, sassy friend more...whoever she is, she's in a bunch of stuff though, but seems rarely featured...

Truly nightmare inducing. Seeing it in motion is even worse.

Beware: This is the red band trailer so NSFW.
They are coming to the Oaks Theater in Oakmont to show the movie in November. I'm all in.

$50 for general admission!? That's a hard pass. I'll stream it a few months later.

What with all the people loving on Top Gun, I can certainly understand why you might have thought that.

Ha, I just read through some of the comments ITT when the first PR image was released. My first comment on it was basically Ed Harris' monologue that opens the trailer.

"You so old but not flag rank, why you still flying"

While I'm posting trailers, here's this:

I had no idea Bill Hader was in this.
I guess if it’s just a vignette of creepy ****, that’s ok, but that first movie was, overall, a waste. Wondering, though, if better child actors would have made a difference. As campy as the mini series was, the performances of the kids were really good. They actually seemed like “losers”, which was lost in the remake. RIP, Brandis.

My college girlfriend dragged me to the play when we went to London on Spring break. Am I missing something, or is there literally no point to the story? I still can’t figure out why it was a thing. At age 21, the theater was ruined for me forever on that day.

Agree. The kids in the original really felt like an authentic group of misfits and losers who teamed up and became best friends to defeat evil. The kids in the remake felt like a group of random average kids who hung out for a couple weeks one summer to fight a monster. They came no where close to capturing the "heart" of the original Loser's Club, and as a result, the stakes never felt that high.
