Re Top Gun trailer

It looks to me like that's Tommy Two Bags in the back seat of a two-seat Super Hornet for the cat shot off the carrier and in the low level maneuvering. After that....... well, everyone else seems to have enjoyed it, so I won't rain on the parade.

Unless the Top Gun reboot retains the gay-friendly comedic feel of the original, very hard pass.

On the other hand, for this, I was "born ready" I don't think it can ever beat Steve McQueen, but if you promise 24 hours of Le Mans, I'll be there!

Don't get me wrong, I'm on board for the jet pr0n, and this one looks even better than the first one in that regard, and I might go see it in a theater. But Top Gun is one of my least favorite movies of all time. Ordinarily I don't sweat details and technical glitches in movies this much, but TG is made almost entirely of them.

Put it this way: It's worse than Prometheus in terms of stupids-per-minute.
