Meh.
That CGI wall had no idea what hit it. The CGI truck sure threw those CGI bricks and CGI cars all over the CGI place. Getting some serious Matrix Reloaded vibes from the car chase and fight scenes. Got those Gumby limbs.

Oh, it's also hilarious that they had Arnold post the trailer on Reddit from his official account. That way instead of all the comments being about how shitty it looks, they're all "OMG Mr. Schwarzenegger!!11!!"

The CGI looks impressively outdated.

thanks for the updates on the aging. While I don't think I've seen any of these after T2, you would think the future would have learned that they need to send more than 1 terminator...

Tarantino's movies are very formulaic and can easily be cut to 20 minute total running time without actually losing anything.

Agree on the hateful eight. I'm good with the others and want more of Kill Bill.

Another Clerks 2/Once Upon a Time in Hollywood connection:
Lady on the right is Kevin Smith's daughter Harley Quinn.

She was also the girl in the window in Clerks 2

disagree on all fronts. i'm not the biggest tarantino fan but i like being in his worlds. i think he is great at suspense and in particular loved hateful eight. i watched it again in full the next day because i enjoyed the dialogue and the silences so much. i don't dig his dorky violence much though and kill bill is basically my least favorite of his works. and i guess you could cut his movie plots down to bullet points like game of thrones but inglorious basterds was good because they spent 30 minutes on the first scene. without his directing style he wouldn't be anything. so yeah if you don't like him then making fun of his "formulaic" movies is a fine dig i guess.

Did you see Pulp Fiction?

Hardly formulaic.

So formulaic that there's basically a genre named after him...

Watched Highlander last night, without looking anything up, I'm guessing it swept the 1986 academy awards. That movie is **** nuts and I love everything about it

Speaking of awesome movies, after Arnold posted the Terminator trailer on Reddit, he did a little q&a afterwards. This was the best reply:

That absolutely should have made it into Commando, and also  .

I don't want to trigger the Last Jedi fanbois. No, I didn't dislike the movie because there black and Asian people in it.
