That's awesome. I'm happy he has aged so well, one of the best.

Also, hey Bucky, just cover your ears and go "la la la la la"For me, Zemo may come across as the worst movie villain Marvel has put out to head up a movie like this, he was terrible. Even my kids were like, why didn't Cap just tell the other Avengers about the wrong bad guy so the movie could have ended an hour early without all of that fighting and destruction.Pretty correct. It was a big disappointment after the incredibleness of The Winter Soldier. It was a very by the numbers movie that was more concerned with advancing the overall story arc of the MCU, underused two pretty good villains (Crossbones and Helmut Zemo), and completely pussed out on doing something big (killing Steve).working on getting kids caught up for Infinity War next week and we watched Civil War last night. That is a boring movie. Fight scenes were pretty cool, but that's about the only thing it has going for it.

Just finished The Force, which was awesome, may have to check that out. Anything else by Don Winslow worth checking out?Read the book, eddy.

There are so many superfluous subplots in the book LA Confidential. The way they narrowed it down to just the spine of the overlapping stories for the movie adaptation was excellent. The whole plot about the Disney avatar guy was really weird imo.

What, you don't like Jell-o Venom face? Also, a Venom movie without Spider-Man is just absurd.

So about Venom: I remember Spider Man "adopting" the black suit symbiote back in the late 80s run of Amazing Spider Man. Is Venom the same thing? Is he a part of the MCU?
Movie Thread
I believe you mean "symBYEote."
And no, this is purely a Sony property at the moment so Venom is not MCU. I don't even know if he's in the Spider-Man universe at this point.

Honestly, I'm not aware of exactly how they're handling it since they've teamed with Marvel on Spidey. But I was under the assumption that this Venom movie is similar to the Catwoman movie in that they're both removed for their respective franchise canons.

Every time a commercial for this comes on, Mrs Tif is like, "Nope". And I'm like, "It's Japan stuff, and dogs.... what's not to....." "Nope". She's 100% convinced there's a ton of sad dog stuff in there that will negate the awesome dog stuff. My wife liked Isle of Dogs.

My wife is very sad dog sensitive and she enjoyed it. Is looking forward to watching it with me again when it ends up on a streaming service.

TIL the *other* creator of Spiderman and Dr. Strange (Steve Ditko) is still alive at the age of 90. He's also from Johnstown, PA:
