Speaking of Ian McShane, we saw John Wick this afternoon. Ridiculously awesome, especially there early fight scene with...well don't want to spoil it.

Crazy, right? Apparently the director (Anna biller) wrote, edited, directed, did the music, costumes and sets.

Eh, he also said Hateful Eight was never going to be made into a movie after the script got leaked, but went back on that anyway.

Yes, the T-800 is covered with relatively normal biomass (muscle, skin, etc). It bruises, heals, scars, tans, ages, etc.

Well, this is awkward.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood standing ovation at Cannes.

The film industry can be so unlikable at times.

Oh and I should add that a standing ovation at Cannes doesn't mean ****. Clerks 2 got an 8 minute standing ovation at Cannes.

John: Now don't take this the wrong way, but you are a Terminator, right?

Terminator: Yes. Cyberdyne Systems Model 101.

John: [pokes at one of Terminator's bullet wounds] Holy ****! You're really real! I mean, you're like a machine underneath, right? But sort of alive outside?

Terminator: I'm a cybernetic organism. Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton.

That was uncomfortable to watch. Also, standing ovations mean jack ****, but the movie is at 96% on RT with 46 reviews. The two rotten reviews came from Spaniards.
